The robot “Shinkalion” was developed by the “Super Evolution Railway Development Organization” (ERDA) to fight against the unknown enemy “Unknown” that appears all over Japan. 日本各地に現れる正体不明の敵・アンノウンに対抗するため「超進化鉄道開発機構」通称「ERDA（エルダ）」が開発したロボット「シンカリオン」。海風ツクモ（CV：畠中祐）が運転するのは西九州新幹線「新幹線Ｎ７００Ｓかもめ」が変形した「シンカリオン Ｎ７００Ｓかもめ」。合体する武装強化ビークルは、高速船のビークル「エルダフェリー」です。合体後フォームは「シンカリオン Ｎ７００Ｓかもめフェリーフォーム」です。
「シンカリオン Ｎ７００Ｓかもめ」と「エルダフェリー」がビークル合体した姿。「オーシャンスラスター」を内蔵した脚部と合体することで、海上でのホバー移動が可能になった。両腕に装着したシールドを巧みに扱い最前線で立ち回り、「サンドウカトラス」をつかった連続攻撃を得意とする。
