Today, April 6th (Saturday), “TV anime ‘Vampire Men’s Dormitory’ broadcast commemorative screening event – We’ll make the night before your broadcast sweeter -” will be held at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya. There was a preliminary screening of episodes 1 and 2 and a stage greeting from the cast (Kana Ichinose, Junichi Toki, Yuichiro Umehara).
At the stage greeting, there was a sweet talk that can only be heard here, as well as the behind-the-scenes stories during the dubbing.
At the stage greeting of “TV Anime ‘Vampire Men’s Dormitory’ Broadcast Start Commemoration Screening Event ~I’ll Make Your Night Before Broadcast Sweet~” held at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya from 14:00 on Saturday, April 6th, Yamamoto Bijin Kana Ichinose, Junichi Toki, who plays Luka Saotome, and Yuichiro Umehara, who plays Ren Nikaido, will be on stage.
The three of them were greeted with loud applause from the audience, and before the screening, they had a heart-pounding talk that is unique to this film.
At the beginning, when asked about the charm of the character she played, Ichinose answered, “Beautiful is a girl who has no parents and has lived a lonely life.First of all, she is pure.When she meets Ruka, she gradually becomes rich in emotions.” I’m sure you’ll be able to empathize with her as you can feel her growth.”
Toki said, Luka's charm is his lack of perspective and the sway of a boy appropriate for his age.I hope I was able to express not only his pure handsomeness, but also the point that he is a cute boy.”” Instead, he talked about the charm that is unique to a boy of his age.
Furthermore, Umehara said, “I felt that Ren is a clumsy character with a youthful spirit.She is cool at first, but she is actually a character whose emotions fluctuate greatly.She becomes more attractive as the scenes repeat.” ,
Ichinose revealed the inside story, saying, Actually, when I was reading the original work, Umehara-san's voice was playing in my head.'' When I heard about the casting, I couldn’t help but think that the interpretation matched,” he said, causing laughter in the audience.
The other day, it was revealed that they had successfully completed the dubbing for all the episodes. Looking back on the dubbing, Ichinose was asked about the points that he particularly wanted people to see because he worked so hard. I was trying to figure out how far I could go, but I think I was able to express just the right amount of sexiness.”
Toki said, “It’s also a blood-sucking scene. It appears in every episode, but I didn’t want it to just be a symbolic scene.” He talked about the points he kept in mind during the dubbing, and said he wanted people to pay attention to the story leading up to the blood-sucking.
Umehara replied, “When we were recording the Kyun scene, it was impressive to see Yusuke Shirai (who plays Takara) messing around in the background.”
“Surprisingly, Hadano-san was also a dark horse,” he said, reminiscing about how Wataru Hatano, who plays Komori, and Mr. Shirai made the post-recording scene so relaxing.
また、本作で登場する個性的なキャラクターについて「この寮で同室になるなら、どのキャラがいい？」という質問には市ノ瀬、梅原が「小森」を挙げ、市ノ瀬は「どんな生活を送っているのか気になる。生活を観てみたい」と答え、梅原は「適度な距離感を保ってくれそう。邪魔になったらコウモリに変身してほしい」と回答。
土岐は「ルームシェアは誰とも嫌だ。しいて言えば、ルカはオタク友達としてならアリかも」と述べ、3人とも家ではあまり干渉されたくないということが明かされました。
そして今回、サプライズプレゼントとして、原作の遠山えま先生から直筆のイラスト色紙とお手紙が到着すると、3人とも「えっすごい…！」と驚きを隠せない様子で、市ノ瀬は「目の描き方が好きです。繊細で、まじまじと見ちゃう」と声を震わせました。
最後に、市ノ瀬は「少女漫画ならではの演出が多く、「これが観たかった！」が観れる作品だと思います。ぜひ、キュンポイントを見つけてください」、
土岐は「原作ファンはもちろんのこと、アニメからの方も楽しめます。愛に溺れるストーリーを３か月楽しんでください」、
