The synopsis, preview cuts, and trailer for episode 8 of “Asakusa Sakunahime,” “The Rice Riots that Shake the Capital,” have been released!The unique Japanese-style action RPG game “Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin,” with the catchphrase “Rice is power!”, combines exhilarating combo action in which you fight the demons that rule the island of Hinoe with simulation elements that deeply recreate traditional Japanese rice cultivation, has been adapted into a TV anime. It has been airing on TV Tokyo since July 2024.

The rice that Sakuna and her friends grew and named “Amahoho” became popular in the capital.

However, one day, Semorigami appears at the mountain pass and tells them that Amanoho is dangerous and misleading, and that its distribution has been banned. Sakuna and her friends realize that someone has tampered with the rice in an attempt to damage the reputation of their rice, and they learn that Kokorowahime is also a suspect.

Sakuna refuses to believe it and returns to the capital to try and find the real culprit…
