Kobato Tsunegoro and Osanai Yuki promised to aim to be peaceful and modest ordinary people. Kobato arrives earlier than the promised time to eat sweets with Osanai and goes to a nearby burger shop, where Dojima calls out to her.

Having arrived earlier than the time they had agreed to have sweets with Osanai, Kobato entered a nearby burger shop where she was called out by Dojima, who was inside the shop. Dojima was keeping an eye on a group of high school students about whom there were disturbing rumors.

Dojima was telling Kobato the whole story, but when he noticed something happening within the group, he left a note and left the store. When Kobato picked up the note, it only had the word “half” written on it.
