First anime visual & first PV featuring Oz and Muru characters releasedIt has been announced that the TV anime “The Wizard’s Promise” will be broadcast from January 2025. Along with this, a super teaser visual, the first anime visual, and the first PV, which captures characters moving vividly in a beautiful world, have been released.

“Magician’s Promise”, also known as “Mahoyaku”, is a game app that “connects hearts with wizards” that was launched by coly on November 26, 2019 and has been downloaded over 7 million times. The story takes place in a world where wizards and humans coexist, and the main character (player) is summoned as a sage'' to a world that has been severely damaged by a moon known as the Great Calamity” that approaches once a year.

The Sage'' and 21 Wise Wizards” deepen their bonds and connect their hearts as they train and fight in preparation for the approach of the next great disaster. It was made into a manga in 2020, a 2.5-dimensional stage play in 2021, and the long-awaited anime version is finally here.

This new information was announced at the cast event “The Wizard’s Promise – Our Magical Party Wiz You! – Invitation to Walpurgis Night” held on May 11th and 12th. The super teaser visual, which is the first anime visual for this work, is drawn by character designer and chief animation director Nozomi Nagatomo. The motifs and worldview that are familiar to this work are scattered throughout.

The first PV was also unveiled, showing a part of the story that begins when the main character, Akira Maki, who was living an ordinary life, wanders into a world where wizards and humans coexist. The characters that move vividly in the beautiful world of the TV anime “Mahoyaku” are also raising expectations for the main story.

The TV anime “The Wizard’s Promise” will be broadcast from January 2025. The next announcement of new information about the anime is scheduled for August, so we look forward to further updates.
