“Bad Girl” to be made into a TV anime! A school comedy from “Kirara” depicting the struggles of a self-proclaimed delinquent girl ♪ A comment from the original author, Nikumaru, has arrivedIt has been announced that the four-frame manga “Bad Girl” currently being serialized in “Manga Time Kirara Carat” will be made into a TV anime. Along with the announcement, information on the main staff and teaser visuals have been released. A comment from the original author, Nikumaru, has also been sent in commemoration of the TV anime adaptation.

“Bad Girl” is a school comedy drawn by Nikumaru that has been serialized in Houbunsha’s “Manga Time Kirara Carat” since 2021. Yu Yutani, a first-year high school student at Fujigasaki Private High School, was an honor student and had a good reputation among those around her, but that all changed when she met Mizutori Atori, the school’s Madonna and disciplinary committee chairman. In order to attract the attention of Atori, whom she worships as a god, Yu gives up being a “good girl” among the masses and aims to become a “bad delinquent”, depicting the struggles of a self-proclaimed delinquent and slightly foolish girl.

The newly announced TV anime will be directed by Furuta Takeshi, who has worked on “Shaman King Flowers” and “The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of the Commandments,” and animation will be handled by Bridge, who has worked on “Shaman King Flowers” and “Yu-Gi-Oh! Go-Rush!!.”

Additionally, the series is written by Shoji Yonemura, known for works such as Wave, Listen to Me! and the Butt Detective series, character design is by Yuki Morimoto, known for works such as Boarding School Juliet and Cardfight!! Vanguard GZ, and music is by Arisa Okehazama, known for works such as The Apothecary Diaries and Big Brother is Finished!

The teaser visual, which was also unveiled, features Yutani Yu, Suzukaze Ryo, Ruriha Rura, and Mizutori Atori standing with the roughly scrawled word “BADGIRL” in red letters behind them. Regarding the TV anime adaptation, Nikumaru commented, “I feel that everyone involved, including director Furuta-san and series composer Yonemura-san, have taken great care in creating the original work. On top of that, I think that the unique expressions of anime and the expressiveness of the voice actors will add to the excitement, and I would be very happy if I could share this excitement with readers and everyone who has come into contact with the work through the anime adaptation!”
