Published photos, release event information, and Nakamura’s comments have been released.
Since making his voice acting debut in 2015 as Tendo Teru in the app game “The Idolmaster SideM,” Nakamura Shuugo has appeared in popular works such as the TV anime “Blue Lock” (as Gagamaru Gin) and the animated film “THE FIRST SLAM DUNK” (as Miyagi Ryota).
He has been active in music since 2019, writing his own lyrics and composing his own music, and also appears in dramas and is an MC on variety shows, showing his multifaceted activities that go beyond voice acting. Next year will be the 10th anniversary of his voice acting debut, so he will be releasing a photo book to commemorate the occasion.
The setting is Okinawa, Nakamura’s hometown and the place he loves dearly. In order to trace the origins of how “voice actor Nakamura Shugo” was born, we conducted photography in various situations under the direction of up-and-coming photographer MARCO.
The photos capture his characteristic refreshing expression in a location rich in nature, with blue ocean and deep forest. There are also many photos that symbolize Okinawa, such as playing the sanshin in a traditional old house and stuffing his face with a hamburger in an exotic cafe. Meanwhile, at a boxing gym, he plays the role of a boxer, sparring in a serious manner reminiscent of a pre-match session. There are also sporty shots of him enjoying a game of basketball.
The best part is the photoshoot at a super high-end hotel. In a luxurious suite with a private pool and a panoramic view of the Okinawan cityscape from the terrace, she is seen dozing defenselessly in bed, exposing her sexy, mature expression in the bathroom, and diving into the night pool to reveal the beautiful physique she trained for the photobook.
And then, as I watch the sun set, a tear falls.
Nakamura’s various emotions are expressed through photographs, and the book is packed with her journey as a voice actress, in which she has encountered many works and characters.
I’m so happy to be able to release a photobook to commemorate my 10th anniversary as a voice actor! I took the photos in my hometown, Okinawa. Yay!
I grew up in Okinawa for 18 years. Even though it’s been a while since I’ve been there, I always feel like a kid again when I go back! I was photographed in a variety of situations. I went to the river, the sea, and boxing. And Okinawa in the summer was hot, as expected!!!
But we all worked hard together and had a lot of fun taking the photos! We’ve created a photobook that we’re proud of and want many people to see!

He began his artist activities in 2019.
