I will be in charge of the voice of Shinpai, the leader of the “Adult Emotions” who will newly appear in this work.
The main character of this work is Riley, a girl who has reached adolescence and has reached a major turning point in her life by entering high school. One day, adult emotions led by Shinpai appear in front of Yorokobi and Kanashimi, the emotions in her head that have been watching over her since she was a child, and a storm of emotions arises. .
The Japanese voice actor for Shinpai, who is the leader of these newly appearing adult emotions, imagines the worst future and hastily prepares more than necessary, has been voiced by many movies and dramas. Mikako Tabe is an actor who continues to appear in popular works. Tabe, who has been active as an actor since her teens and has made a presence in numerous movies, dramas, and commercials with her acting skills, will be taking on the challenge of voice acting for a Japanese version of a Disney & Pixar movie for the first time. .
Mr. Tabe, who won the role of <Shinpai> after auditioning at the US headquarters, said, I have always loved Disney & Pixar works, and I went to see the previous movie
Inside Head” in the theater, and it was a work I really liked. I’m very happy to be able to use my own voice as a character called “Shinpai” with new emotions, and I want to do my best,” he said, expressing his joy.
Regarding his previous film Inside Head,'' which he saw in theaters himself, he said,
Everyone has emotions, and every emotion is necessary, so I thought it would be really interesting to turn that into a story. This time, as Riley enters adolescence, the idea of introducing emotions that everyone has experienced is amazing,” he said enthusiastically, expressing the unique charm of Pixar’s works that depict “what-if worlds.”
Regarding the role of Shinpai in this work, which is a sequel to one of his favorite works, Mr. Tabe himself said, Imagine the future that others don't understand, prepare more than necessary, and even if all kinds of problems occur, I can manage.'' He is a character with a unique personality, being a little impatient and restless, but also has a sense of justice because he thinks he is good. I worked hard to grasp the characteristics of different expressions and vocalizations.I think the feeling of
shinpai” is a very important emotion in life, so it was difficult to balance its good points with its quirks. While looking back on the recording, he said that he is a unique yet lovable character.
Regarding this feeling of Sinpai'', Mr. Tabe himself said,
I’m the type of person who worries too much and has a lot of baggage, so even though it’s a small thing, worrying about it and thinking, “I’m glad I had this!” has helped me in some way.’ ‘ He revealed that he is always being helped.
Regarding this work, which depicts a moving story set in a world of colorful emotions, he says, “Everyone has probably gone through, or maybe will continue to go through, adolescence, a turning point in life when emotions begin to emerge rapidly.” Because it’s a road, I think it’s a work that everyone can empathize with and cry.I think all emotions are essential, and we move through life by supporting each other and overcoming them. But after watching it, I thought it was a sparkling work that would increase self-affirmation, so I think it’s a work that adults can relate to a lot, too.” He expressed his confidence in the work. I looked into it.
