A middle-aged man who works as a master of a sword-fighting dojo that has been passed down for generations in a rural village. He has produced many excellent disciples to date. Hello everyone, I’m Hirata, who plays the older man.
When I did the voice-over for the promotional video for the publication of the second volume of the comics, I remember saying, “It’d be great if it was made into an anime!”, but I never imagined it would happen so soon.
Every week, I am surrounded by my adorable former students and record in a dreamlike manner.
In Japan, kendo has a long history, and recently fencing has also become strong at a world level.
If older men around the world watch this anime, and are inspired to discover the way of the sword and pursue it to the fullest, then as someone who was given the role of Beryl, I would be extremely happy, even if their motives are impure.
