Magic. Nearly a century has passed since it was established as a real technology.
A brother and sister enroll in the First High School attached to the National Magic University, commonly known as “First High School.”
The older brother, Tatsuya, is a poor student with a fatal flaw as a magician.

Their student life was filled with one upheaval after another.

Sakurai Minami, who was sent by the Yotsuba family, comes to live with Tatsuya and his friends, and

He was meant to lead a peaceful school life with Miyuki, but

Zhou Gongjin launched an anti-magician campaign in the media and intervened in the performance testing of the Paradise Doll during the Nine School Competition. He left Yokohama and went into hiding under the “Traditionalists,” a group of ancient magicians whose sphere of influence was centered around Kyoto.
Two months later, as the National High School Magical Studies Essay Competition drew near, Fumiya and Ayako visited the Shiba family bearing Maya’s letter.
The contents of the letter were a “request” for cooperation in capturing the fugitive Zhou Gongjin.
Why a “request” and not an “order”?
Though skeptical, Tatsuya and Miyuki accept Maya’s request and head off to Nara to ask for the cooperation of the Kushima family, who are in conflict with the “traditionalists.”
There, the two meet Kushima Mitsunobu, a genius magician who is a match for Miyuki.
