Ethan Hunt is the protagonist of the spy movie series “Mission: Impossible”. The day comes from the fact that the first film in the series was released on the same day in Japan in 1996. The latest film, “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two,” is scheduled to be released in 2025.

There are many characters in anime who operate as spies in the shadows. They may steal classified information from heavily guarded facilities, blend into society without being recognized as spies, or even pose as someone completely different.

So Anime! Anime! conducted a reader survey titled “Who comes to mind when you think of a spy character?”

following on from last year. We received responses from 482 people during the survey period from June 29th to July 4th. The gender ratio was about 30 percent male, about 60 percent female, and about 10 percent gave no response, with more females than males. In terms of age group, the majority were young people, with about 40 percent under 19 and about 15 percent in their 20s.
