The “Ultraman Card Game” is a trading card game that combines the worldview of the “Ultraman Series” with gameplay and collectibility that can be enjoyed by both children and adults. According to Tsuburaya Productions, this is the first attempt in the trading card industry to have a product available in four languages at the time of initial release and to start selling simultaneously in 15 countries and regions around the world.
The “Starter Deck” includes a 50-card “deck” and “play sheet” required to play the game, as well as one “booster pack,” so you can start playing right away. Each “booster pack” contains six random cards. You can play in a variety of ways, such as building your own “deck” or collecting your favorite characters using the cards you get from the “booster pack.” In addition, the 24-pack box comes with the Ancient Monster Gomora (RRR) as a purchase bonus.
Another highlight of this card game is the rare cards that will be available for purchase, including cards by Hiroshi Maruyama, who was responsible for the designs of Ultraman Tiga, Ultraman Dyna, Ultraman Cosmos, and Masayuki Goto, who was responsible for the designs of Ultraman and monsters from Ultraman Zero onwards.
