On June 16th, a special event (two performances, one in the afternoon and one in the evening) will be held at the New Pier Hall in Takeshiba, Tokyo just before the broadcast of this series!
On stage were Amazaki Kohei (role of Kuze Masachika), Uesaka Sumire (role of Alisa Mikhailovna Kujo), Maruoka Wakana (role of Suou Yuki), Fujii Yukiyo (role of Maria Mikhailovna Kujo), and Aizawa Saya (role of Kimijima Ayano). Aoki Yuma acted as the MC.

On June 16th, a special event was held at the New Pier Hall in Takeshiba, Tokyo, just before the broadcast of the TV anime “My Neighbor, Arya-san, Who Sometimes Whispers in Russian” (commonly known as “Rosider”)! In this article, we bring you a report on the afternoon session of the event, where fans formed a long line before the doors even opened, giving a strong sense of the heat of anticipation for the anime adaptation.
The screening of the first episode began right on time! Fans held their breath as they watched the exchange between the lovely Aarya and the self-indulgent Masachika.
And when the screening ended, the audience naturally burst into applause! MC Aoki Yuma took to the stage and introduced the cast members Amakasaki Kohei (role of Kuze Masachika), Uesaka Sumire (role of Alisa Mikhailovna Kujo), Maruoka Wakana (role of Suou Yuki), Fujii Yukiyo (role of Maria Mikhailovna Kujo), and Aizawa Saya (role of Kimijima Ayano).
When asked about their impressions of the first episode, which had just finished screening, the cast immediately asked the audience, “Was it interesting?” The audience responded with a big round of applause, and the entire cast was relieved.
Additionally, when asked about the radio show “Arya-san Next Door Sometimes Talks Quietly in Russian” in which Amaka and Uesaka are hosts, Uesaka enthusiastically spoke about the show’s contents, saying, “We talk about how wonderful Haruko Momoi is!”
Amaki also joined in, saying, “I’ll bring my Walkman from the dressing room and let’s listen to Haruko Momoi’s radio show together!” Fujii immediately asked, “Is this really the ‘Rosider’ radio show?” …Is it really the ‘Rosider’ radio show?
While the afterglow of the first episode was still fresh, we started with a mini corner called “Cast members tell us their favorite scenes from episode 1!” This corner will feature favorite scenes based on a survey that was given to the cast members in advance.
The first scene mentioned was the scene where Arya mutters a line in Russian for the first time. Amasaki gave an enthusiastic presentation about this scene, where she mutters “милашка (mirashka/cute).” When he thought about how to recreate the atmosphere of the original novel in the anime, he decided to skip over the first line.
However, he passionately explained that the second time, while writing “cute” in the subtitles, it conveys that Masachika understands Russian, and that this scene shows the direction of the “Rossidere” anime.
Aizawa-san apparently witnessed Uesaka-san writing a large amount of notes while she was recording her Russian lines. Uesaka-san, who played Arya, revealed a secret about her role preparation, saying, “Russian pronunciation is often harsh, so I voiced the Russian lines in a higher key than I normally do.”
The next scene mentioned was when Masachika puts socks on Aarya, which drew sighs from the stage.
As Uesaka spoke enthusiastically, “Arya’s kick from her beautiful legs and that ‘good thing’… this is the golden combo of a romantic comedy!”, Maruoka, a self-proclaimed socks expert, began to appeal to the audience, “Have you ever wanted to be a sock?!”
Fujii also exclaimed his fetish, saying, “Socks are nice, but I like Aarya’s ‘hurry up’! I like being told what to do with her bare feet!”
Afterwards began the “Rosider Final Exam,” which tested the cast’s love for “Rosider.”
The cast members looked serious as the person with the highest score would be awarded a cup of borsch, a Russian specialty.
In the “Rosider Quiz,” questions are asked about the character’s settings.
When asked which side Aarya’s hair ribbon was on, Maruoka immediately checked the audience members who had Aarya goods. Although it was difficult to get a detailed view due to the reflection of the light, she enjoyed
communicating .
When asked about the nickname that Arya is known by, the correct answer is “The Lonely Princess.”
However, Maruoka-san answered “My wife” and Aizawa-san answered “The lady on the right with the ribbon.” Furthermore, Amaka-san was unsure of what kanji to use and ended up answering “The lady of the deep shelter” by mistake, causing her to blush.
続いてマーシャの異名について質問。一同悩みつつ、上坂さんは「聖母」、丸岡さんは「ママ」、会沢さんは「リボン右お姉さんのお姉さん」と解答。マーシャを演じる藤井さんは「学園の聖女」
と解答し、天﨑さんも同意したところ……正解が「学園の聖母」と発表!
これでは全員誤答か……となったところで、藤井さんが「学園の聖女」から「女」の文字を消し……。果たしてこれで正解となるのか……?
続く「ロシラジ」の名物コーナー「こんなデレ判定出張版」では、日曜の昼間に思いを寄せる先輩と偶然出会ったとき、ボソッと言われたいセリフをキャストそれぞれが考案。
すぐに書けた上坂さんは「うん、偶然だね? ホントに♡」と可愛らしく演技。会沢さんは「GPS付けてて良かった♡」とヤンデレ風味に解答します。丸岡さんがイケメンセリフを考案し、天﨑さんに演じさせると会場からは拍手が。藤井さんは上坂さんの回答を真似つつ、会沢さんのキャラ性もミックスさせてトライ。その結果、上坂さんの勝利となりました。
結果として、「ロシデレ期末試験」は上坂さんが勝利。上坂さんにボルシチが贈られました。
朗読劇では、Blu-ray第1巻に付属する燦々SUN先生書き下ろし小説が初公開! スタートしたのは、まさかの異世界召喚から始まるストーリー!? 天﨑さんが「露出が少ない」という地の文を「露出が多い」と読み間違う一幕もありつつ、ストーリーが気になるところで朗読劇は終了。続きはBlu-rayを購入して読むしかないのか……! と観客をやきもきさせました。
イベントも終わり際となり、改めてアニメ『ロシデレ』の情報を振り返るコーナーでは、ソーシャルゲーム『時々ボソッとロシア語でデレる隣のアーリャさん パズルパーティー!』の情報が解禁! 興奮冷めやらぬままエンディングに突入しました。
未だに朗読劇での天﨑さんの読み間違えがツボに入っていた会沢さんは、吹き出しつつ「天﨑さんは収録時もカッコいいセリフを噛んでいたんですよ! 他にも毅のことをたかしと呼んでいて」と秘話を暴露。「まだ第1話では観られなかった綾乃を楽しみにしてください!」と応援を呼びかけました。
藤井さんは「観ていただくことで作品は完成するので、とても嬉しかったです。収録が終わってしまうことがとても悲しいアットホームな現場でした。皆様の感想をエゴサしまくるので、皆さんXでポストしてください!」と宣言。
丸岡さんは「私はボケとかできないんですけど」と清楚たっぷりキャラを演じつつ、「『ロシデレ』をよろしくお願いいたします!」と紹介。その声色にはすぐ天﨑さんからツッコミが起こるほど……。
上坂さんは今日のイベントの雰囲気を振り返りつつ、「こんなに楽しい職場はないでしょう?」と仲の良さをアピール。「収録やオープニング・エンディングのレコーディングを通して、本当にいろんな方々が『ロシデレ』を愛してくださっていることを実感しました。夏を本当に楽しませてくれる作品なので、ぜひお楽しみに!」とスピーチしました。
そして座長を務める天﨑さんは、「上坂さんがアーリャを演じるにあたって、監督・演出だけじゃなく、ロシア語の監修の方も付いて、毎話労力をかけて収録に臨まれていました。その姿を見ていたからこそ、素晴らしい作品になると確信しています」とメッセージを送りました。
