At the advance screening, Teruaki Sanematsu, the executive producer of the TV anime, and Masahiko Takeuchi of Aiming, the company that produced the game “LiliSte,” appeared on stage to talk about the key points of the TV anime and the features of “LiliSte,” which is soon to be released.
In this article, we will report on the advance screening and trial event.
The event began with a digest video looking back on the story so far, followed by an advance screening of episodes 10 and 11 of the TV anime.
When Lilisa meets “753♡”, a professional cosplayer and one of the four heavenly kings of cosplay, she loses sight of her purpose in cosplay due to their different stances on cosplay.
To encourage her and to help “753♡” remember the fun of cosplay, Mayuri-sensei, who was once one of the four cosplay kings, appears at the cosplay venue once again as “Mayura.” Episode 10 begins.
Despite her absence, Mayura has an overwhelming presence. The conflicts and thoughts of 753♡, who have a strong sense of rivalry and inferiority towards her, are carefully depicted.
Surrounded by a large number of photographers and with the cosplay battle heating up, Mayura quickly puts her cosplay on hold.
“753♡” gets angry again at this. However, “Mayura” says “There’s someone I want to show you” and passes the baton to “Ririel” played by Lilisa…!
The 10th episode was a very exciting one. The 11th episode was a success, and it hinted at even more exciting developments for the second season.
After the screening, TV anime producer Sanematsu took to the stage and commented that episodes 10 and 11 in particular are typical of Jump works, depicting the passion, friendship, effort, and victory that is so characteristic of the series.
This work never denies the feelings of each individual character, and although this time it took the form of a cosplay battle, the creators created this work with the idea that victory is not simply about winning or losing, but about recognizing each other, helping each other grow, and taking a step forward from who you are now.
People who are not good at interacting with others get together around the theme of what they like. Just like “753” and Lilisa, she said she wants to convey the idea that “bonds deepen.”
Furthermore, Director Hideki Okamoto also touched on the attention to detail, saying that the camera sounds of the many cameramen who appear in the film were changed in detail based on the actual camera sounds, and that he even visited the venue to actually use the noise of the crowds, and that he had done thorough research. He also revealed that the director even made detailed retakes of the way the camera was held. “Because it is a fantasy, we are pursuing realism for the cameramen and cosplayers that everyone understands,” he concluded.
