Additional main cast members have been announced for the stage reading of this work, “Reading Drama ‘I Want to Touch Aono-kun So I Want to Die’ presented by eeo Stage”!
The eight people announced this time are Gakuto Kajiwara, Kento Hama, and Fumiyasu Shioya who will play Masayoshi Fujimoto, Yume Takeuchi and Sana Hoshimori who will play Mio Horie, Miria Watanabe who will play Midori Kariya, and Sho Kano and Norishige Oribe who will play Haruki Horie. Comments have also arrived.
In addition, the performance schedule, performance times, and pairings for this reading play have been announced.
Ticket information has also been released. Advance tickets will be sold by lottery starting on Friday, July 12, 2024.

I was really looking forward to acting in “I Want to Touch You, So I Want to Die” ever since I read it. Since this is a reading, I want to do it in a way that allows me to live freely within the story. Thank you!
I’m excited because it’s a work based on an original work. I will do my best to play Fujimoto so that both fans of the original work and those who are experiencing this work for the first time can enjoy it. I hope to see you at the theater!
I think the appeal of this work is that it portrays the weakness and ugliness of human beings through horror.
The impact that the mysterious existence of ghosts has on humans is enormous, and the process by which the characters change through various hair-raising experiences is depicted very vividly and realistically.
As an actor, I would like to do my best to work with Aono and the others so that I can fully convey the appeal of this work. Thank you.
I’m Takeuchi Yume, who plays Horie Mio. As the title suggests, the main theme of this work is “touching,” so I felt uncomfortable performing it in the form of a reading play.
However, I think that this sense of incongruity makes the meaning of “touching” even more prominent. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this work, which has a mix of horror and laughter, will be colored!

When I read the original work, I was so drawn in that it was scary, and before I knew it, I had read all the way to the latest volume in one go. I’m excited to be able to appear in a reading of “I Want to Touch You, So I Want to Die, Aono-kun”
and enter that world. I’ll do my best to play the role, cherishing the parts of myself that overlap with Mio-chan. Thank you for your support!

＜原作あらすじ＞
天然な主人公・刈谷優里と、その彼氏・青野くんの関係を描く、不思議なラブストーリー。
人生で初めてできた彼氏・青野くんを交通事故で亡くした優里の前に、幽霊となった青野が現れる。
