I will be playing the role of Alicia! My name is Shiraishi Haruka.
When I heard about the audition, I read the original work for the first time, and I was amazed at the drawing skills!!! And while I thought it would be a classic fantasy, it was full of thrills that you just couldn’t predict what was going to happen next!!! It was a story that drew me in
in an instant!!! I hope to do my best to portray the strong-willed Alicia with the same momentum as the original work!!!

Kuren is a superior being and sees humans as if they were insects.
Maybe that’s why he’s so hard to express his feelings and doesn’t show them. I never thought
that speaking like that would be so difficult!! It’s really tough.
But this story is so interesting! I’m really curious to see how it will unfold!
I’ll do my best with my voice so that the anime will be a great piece!

After the audition, I had a chance to read the original work carefully.
Even when things would normally be saved, that doesn’t always happen, and
the plot twists scattered throughout the story add excitement.
I felt that the appeal of this work is the drama that is put together with such meticulous planning. I can’t wait to see
how I will play the important character, Crebates. I hope everyone will enjoy this work, whose development is unpredictable.
–Please tell us how you felt when you found out that the series would be made into an anime!
“Krebates” is my first fantasy work. It’s a subject I’ve been familiar with since I was a child, but surprisingly, this is my first attempt at it. That’s why I’m so enthusiastic about it and have a lot of feelings for it. I’m also taking on new challenges, such as making the entire film in color. I’m very happy and excited to see it become an animation. I hope that this will help more people come into contact with this work and come to like it.
–This is your first time as an anime director, so please tell us about your enthusiasm for the project!
Even though it’s the same video work, the production process is completely different, which gives me fresh surprises and makes me enjoy making it. I’m incorporating live-action directing where possible and experimenting, so I hope to show you an interesting chemical reaction. Please look forward to this adventure drama with a quirky story, cast, and staff!
Alicia, who had dreamed of becoming a hero since she was a child, becomes one of the 13 heroes chosen by the king.
The heroes set out to defeat the Demon King Klebates with the legendary sword.
However, their bravery brings about a terrible crisis that could wipe out the entire human race on the continent of Edsea.
The only hope left in the world is a baby entrusted to the Demon King.
