Akio Otsuka has been appointed as the image character of “Star Channel”! Otsuka’s comment arrivedStar Channel, which has been providing broadcasting services as a premium movie specialty channel since 1998, has been renewed and consolidated into one channel, Star Channel, from June this year!

To commemorate the renewal, “BS10 Star Channel Renewal Campaign 2024” will be held from Friday, April 26, 2024. In addition to the branding movie and key visual being released, voice actor Akio Otsuka has been appointed as the image character.

My name is Akio Otsuka, and I have been asked to be the channel’s image character, and I am overwhelmed by how important the role is.

Since I was a child, I have been familiar with Western movie theaters on TV, and over time I made a living dubbing foreign movies. I don’t think words can describe the joy of watching movies. We, the voice actors, will do our best to provide you with a high-quality dubbed version.
