On Friday, August 2nd, the fourth and latest film in the series, “My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: Your Next,” will be released nationwide.

A spectacular visual has been released, drawn by Yoshihiko Umakoshi, the character designer for the My Hero Academia anime, and produced by Bones!
In the background, All Might points his finger and says, “You’re next,” in one of the most famous scenes from My Hero Academia, which is the origin of the story and subtitle of this movie. Deku, who has been entrusted with his will, along with Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki and other members of U.A. 1-A, as well as the pro heroes, are gathered together with powerful expressions on their faces, along with the catchphrase, “We’re next!”
This key visual is the most tense and dynamic in the history of My Hero Academia movies, and it anticipates an intense and heart-pounding battle over the will of All Might, the “symbol of peace” and idol of all.
Additionally, in the center of the visual are two original characters from the movie who hold the key to the story: Giulio, peering in with a suspicious look, and Anna, with a sad expression.

In a world where people with supernatural powers, or “quirks,” have become commonplace, All Might, the former No. 1 hero known as the “symbol of peace,” spoke these words immediately after winning a deadly battle with the “Emperor of Evil.”
Even after All Might retired from his position as the No. 1 hero, his heroic will was passed down to Izuku and the other students in the Hero Course at Yuei High School.
In the spring of Izuku and his friends’ second year at Yuuei, an all-out war between heroes and villains breaks out. Izuku faces off against Shigaraki Tomura, who has acquired a terrifying power, and they clash violently. Both heroes and villains take great damage, and the battle comes to an end with Shigaraki’s retreat, but the time for them to meet again in a decisive battle is fast approaching.
Suddenly, a mysterious giant fortress appears in a society devastated by this all-out war, engulfing towns and people one by one.
Then, before Izuku and the others, a man reminiscent of a “symbol of peace” stands…

The comic series has sold over 85 million copies worldwide! The TV anime “My Hero Academia” is based on the hugely popular comic by Kohei Horikoshi, which is currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha).
The story takes place in a world where about 80% of the population has some kind of supernatural ability, a “quirk.” The story follows the growth, battles, and friendships of Izuku Midoriya, a high school student at Yuei High School, and his classmates, who aim to become heroes, a profession that protects people and society from accidents, disasters, and criminals and enemies who abuse their “quirks”!
超常能力“個性”を持つ人間が当たり前の世界。憧れのNo.1ヒーロー・オールマイトと出会った“無個性”の少年・緑谷出久、通称「デク」は、その内に秘めるヒーローの資質を見出され、オールマイトから“個性”ワン・フォー・オール(OFA)を受け継いだ。デクはヒーロー輩出の名門・雄英高校に入学し、“個性”で社会や人々を救ける“ヒーロー”になることを目指し、ヒーロー科1年A組のクラスメイトたちと共に成長していく。
