The story depicts Ginpachi-sensei, also known as Sakata Ginpachi, from “Ginpachi Sensei, Year 3, Class Z” and Sakata Gintoki from “Gintama,” and is a crossover between the two worlds.
The anime “3-nen Z-gumi Ginpachi Sensei” is an anything-goes school anime in which the characters from the “Gintama” world move from Edo to a school setting and enjoy a slightly unconventional youth.
With the catchphrase “It doesn’t matter if you’re an extrovert or an introvert, Gintama-style youth is here!”, the unruly students wreak havoc on the school stage under the guidance of their homeroom teacher, Sakata Ginpachi, whose trademark is his scruffy white coat and dead fish eyes.
The much anticipated PV was unexpectedly not completed in time, and it’s unclear whether it can be called a PV, as it says, “We’re announcing that the official PV will be released at Jump Festa 2025.” However, you can look forward to the official PV, which will be announced on the BLUE Stage from 3:40 PM on Saturday, December 21st!

The novel version was written without giving much thought to the seating arrangement of the students!
I was thinking something like that, but it seems like they made it look good in that regard.
The anime is exactly like the novel in some places, but also has some parts that are completely different.
In any case, the staff, who love “Gintama” and “Ginpachi Sensei”, came together to aim to create an interesting anime.
I also did everything I could.

I still vividly remember reading Gintama when it was first serialized.
I think the cover was also a color version of Gintama.
I found the illustrations fresh and it was so interesting that I kept reading.
I was very happy to be involved with “Ginpachi” after more than a decade, and I was full of motivation when I got involved.
Moreover, several members of the Gintama staff were involved, including Takeuchi-san as the character designer and animation director.
It was a difficult piece to strike the right balance, trying to create something that Ginpachi could enjoy without ruining the image of Gintama.
I hope to have fun together with all the fans.
It’s been about a year and seven months since the anime adaptation was announced. A lot has happened in that time.
There were times when I wondered if this was really going to be completed.
However, it looks like we will be able to deliver it to everyone safely (probably).
A group of extremely eccentric students are causing mayhem inside the narrow confines of Class 3Z.
