The story is set in a certain European country in the 15th century. At a time when the geocentric theory, which states that the Earth is the center of the universe and the planets revolve around it, was considered the truth of the world and believing or researching anything that contradicted this theory was a serious crime, the child prodigy Rafael learns of the possibility of the heliocentric theory from the words of the mysterious scholar Hubert.
He was called a genius by those around him and even considered himself a genius, but then an uncontrollable intellectual curiosity began to grow in him. “What on earth would I have to sacrifice to learn everything about this world?” he asked, risking his own “knowledge”, “blood” and even his life to prove the “heliocentric theory”. What fate awaited Rafał?
The released key visual shows Rafal watching the stars, with Badeni, Jorenta and Okuji looking up at the same star-filled sky. The visual expresses the film’s epic and passionate story of a group of people of different social status, age, gender and occupation who all share a commonality: they are fascinated by the beauty of the heliocentric theory and are willing to risk their lives and beliefs to prove it.
