The “Fate” series is a media mix work that originated from the visual novel game “Fate/stay night” released by TYPE-MOON in 2004. The story depicts the “Holy Grail War,” in which magicians (Masters) summon historical heroes and mythical beings (Servants) to fight until only one pair remains, in order to obtain the Holy Grail that grants wishes.
“Music” is one of the important elements that enhances the appeal of the “Fate” series.
The music by Yuki Kajiura, who was in charge of the music for “Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel],” and Hideyuki Fukasawa, who was in charge of the music for “Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works],” is all fantastic, vividly coloring everything from dark and serious music to music for tense battle scenes and moving music.
This concert, which commemorated the 20th anniversary of “Fate/stay night,” also featured appearances by Noriko Shitaya, who played the role of Sakura Matou, and Kana Ueda, who played the role of Rin Tohsaka, and the synchronization of the live performance with the video made it an irreplaceable moment for fans.
