In order to distance himself from his overprotective mother, Shota Minato (CV: Junya Enoki), a first year university student, moves into the Shofu Dormitory. The dormitory was filled with unique members, including Minato’s cousin Yuzu and the dormitory leader Yanagi.

Yumichiro Ono (voiced by Sho Nogami), with whom Minato shared a room, is famous for being strict, but in reality, he was a caring senior with a harsh tone. Minato joins the Visual and Film Research Society, where Yanagi serves as the president, and gets used to the free and lively life at the university and in the dormitory.

Everyone in the dormitory was friendly, but Ono clearly hated Yanagi. The day after the event/request tournament in the dormitory, Minato learns about Ono’s older brother and Yanagi’s past.

Ono’s lingering grievances remain as summer vacation begins, and Ono leaves the dormitory early to return to his hometown, while Minato attends a training camp for the Visual Film Research Group.
