Gosho Aoyama’s original work “YAIBA” will be completely animated! Are there any characters related to the “Million Dollar Five Star”?Gosho Aoyama, known for his work on Detective Conan, has decided to make a complete anime version of his work “YAIBA,” which was serialized in Shogakukan and Weekly Shonen Sunday from 1988 to 1993. A newly drawn visual showing the blade and Raijin Sword has also been released.

“YAIBA” is an action drama about a wild samurai named Yaiba Kurogane who is training in the jungle and suddenly returns to Japan, where he pursues his samurai spirit in search of further strength in the land of his training.

It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday from issue 39 in 1988 and concluded in issue 50 in 1993. This comic by Gosho Aoyama boasts a total of 24 volumes and a cumulative circulation of 17 million copies.

To commemorate the announcement of the complete anime adaptation, a visual poster drawn by Gosho Aoyama will be published in the 24th issue of Weekly Shonen Sunday, which will be released today, May 8th. Various swords, which are central to the story, are depicted, centering on the main character of this work, Tetsuha, who is looking at us with a thunder god sword in his hand.

It was also announced that the original author, Gosho Aoyama, will be fully supervising the scenario for this work.

Furthermore, in the trailer video that was released, along with the video that stirs up expectations, there was a handwritten comment from Aoyama that said, “Whether you know Yaiba or not, please watch it! It’s amazing!!!”

YAIBA'', which was decided to be made into a complete anime 30 years after its conclusion, has been praised on social media with comments such as I’m really looking forward to it!” and This is hot!!''
