The first animated movie based on manga artist Inio Asano’s masterpiece, “Dead Dead Demons Dedededede Destruction [Second Chapter]” has finally been released! The highlight of the later chapters is the spectacular scene between Oba, who is trying to save the world, and Kenichi Kohirumaki, who is at odds with him. Irino was impressed, saying, It was a scene that the animation staff put a lot of effort into creating, and I could feel the suspense and sweaty feeling from the music,'' and Uchiyama, who plays the role of Kenichi Kohirumaki, said, The final confrontation was based on the original. It was an important scene that showed how far Kohiruimaki had gone, and it was a climax packed with a lot of things.”
そんな内山について浅野は「目の鋭さが小比類巻と通ずるものがある」と冗談めかしながらキャラクターにピッタリだと太鼓判。他方、入野は大葉と自身のリンクについて「性格的には違うけれど、違うからこそアプローチがしやすかった」と述べた。
また幾田は、門出と凰蘭がキスするシーンについて「友情や恋愛という垣根を超えた信頼を表現するために作ったシーンですか？」と原作者・浅野に質問。
これに浅野は「愛情が高ぶるとおんたんというキャラクターはキスをしちゃう。キステロです。その一番盛り上がった状態をラストシーンでおんたんと門出で描いた」と解説すると「キステロだったとは…」と驚く幾田の一方で、あのは「ぼくはおんたんに共感する部分が多いと思って演じていたけれど、キステロは…しないな」と苦笑い。すると浅野は「いやいやそんなことない、あのちゃんだったらわかってくれるはず」と言い張り、あのは「しないですっ！」ときっぱり否定していた。
最後は完成&公開を祝して、全員で協力してくす玉を割り大団円。
幾田は「私はこの作品を経て、自分の命が終わる瞬間に何を大切にするのか、何を幸せと感じるのか考えるきっかけになりました。私も青春や人生を謳歌したいと思いました」と語り、あのも「世界が終わったら誰を大切にして、自分の気持ちのどの部分を強くして、どう向き合うのか考えた。作品を通してぼく自身も成長することが出来ました。声優初挑戦でしたが皆さんのお陰で楽しく素敵な作品に関われて嬉しいです」としみじみし「早口も上手になりました！」と嬉しそうに報告した。
浅野は「自分のキャリアでは比較的王道の漫画を描いていたと思っていたけれど、実際に見返してみるととんでもなく変な作品。起承転結のルールも守っていないし、情報量が多い割には余白の多い不思議な作品だと思いました。でもそんな余白の部分こそが、自分が描きたかったことだと思いました。皆さんの記憶に残る作品になってもらえたら嬉しいです」と大ヒットを祈願していた。
