April 7, 2024 Just before the first episode of “Yozakura Family’s Daisakusen” starts airing, watch the moment the anime broadcast begins at the Peacock Theater in Universal Studios Japan, Osaka, and watch the first episode together. The event “Episode 1 Real-Tie Viewing Strategy” was held. At the venue, Leiji Kawashima, who plays Taiyo Asano, and Kaede Hondo, who plays Mutomi Yozakura, took to the stage and held a talk show 30 minutes before the broadcast began.
The entrance to the stage opened and Mr. Kawashima appeared. He appears with a microphone as a gun (like a spy). Mr. Hondo appeared from behind Mr. Kawashima. Mr. Kawashima headed towards the stage to protect Mr. Hondo. Mr. Kawashima wears a vest and pants that look like combat uniforms. Mr. Hondo is wearing a blue shirt and a dressy gray skirt. The two perform a sun-like combination that truly protects Mutsumi.
When asked how he felt about this day, he said, I recorded the voice comic forYozakura Family” about 3 or 4 years ago, and the work that I had been involved with since I was a newcomer was turned into an anime. I’m so happy that the day has come to air it,” Kawashima said. Hondo also said, “I also play Mutsumi in Voice Calendar.We auditioned multiple times for both Voice Comic and Voice Calendar.Each time, I was nervous going into the audition, so I was very nervous when the anime aired.” I’m deeply moved to see that happen,” he said.
The first episode that will be aired this time is the most important episode that depicts the fate of Taiyo and Mutsumi. Mr. Kawashima said, I cherish the first episode very much. It is an episode that depicts Taiyo's past, and the scars he has are revealed here. It is precisely because we convey that clearly that we decided to write the second episode. Looking back at the time of recording, he said,When the first episode started, I could see him working hard to protect Mutsumi. Immediately there was a monologue (of the sun).The nuances of that monologue were changed between the test and the actual performance.We received direction on set and changed it completely.We decided that this would be the best version of the night cherry blossoms in the anime. Mr. Hondo also said, “The first episode is full of highlights, but I loved Taiyo’s expression when he decided to become a member of the Yozakura family, the SE (sound effects), and the visual and voice acting. “I like it. I think the scene where Taiyo overcomes his past wounds and chooses to start a family is a great scene,” he said, telling me about the famous scene from the first episode.
This “Episode 1 Real-Tie Viewing Strategy” is the first attempt at a simultaneous viewing event linked to a TV anime within the Universal Studios Japan park. When Kawashima-san and Hondo-san heard that, they were overjoyed and said, “We did it!” and “We’re proud.”
It seems that the two of them have visited Universal Studios Japan in the past… “I’ve been there before, but I’ve never been since I was an adult.It’s been a while since I’ve been there, so today was fun.” It was fun. I got excited just walking around the facility, and I had lots of pictures taken,” said Hondo.
Mr. Kawashima also said, “The last time I came was when I was a vocational student. When I looked it up, it was 10 years ago in March. At the time, I was working part-time at a ramen shop, and I came by car with the rest of my part-time workers. “That’s right,” he said, reminiscing about that time.
ふたりは夜桜一家キャストのグループLINEに今日の模様を報告しているようで、キャスト陣はみんな「うらやましい！」「私も行きたい」と興味津々だったとか。ふたりは「次は夜桜一家のキャストといっしょにユニバーサル・スタジオ・ジャパンでイベントをしたい」とリクエストをしていました。
オンエア直前となり、川島さんが昂る気持ちを最後にコメントしてくれました。「アニメ『夜桜さんち』のオンエアは2クールです。その第1話をみんなでいっしょに観られるなんて。しかも、ユニバーサル・スタジオ・ジャパンで観るなんて一生忘れられないじゃない？?アニメ『夜桜さんち』は、僕にとっても声優として新たな節目になる作品だと思っているのでぜひ2クールの放送を楽しみにしてください」。その言葉とともに、待ちに待った第1話のオンエアがスタート。川島さんと本渡さんはそのまま会場で、第1話を観客といっしょに鑑賞しました。
そしてオンエアが終わって、会場では川島さんと本渡さんを交えてアフターパーティを開催。
ふたりは観たばかりの第1話の感想を教えてくれました。「私は泣きそうでした。グッときてしまいました」と本渡さん、「六美が涙を浮かべるシーンで、六美は人のために泣ける人なんだとあらためて実感して。そりゃ太陽も六美のことを好きになるよなと感じました」と川島さん。
オンエア後にXのトレンドに「夜桜さん」が入ったことを聞くと、ふたりとも大喜び。ふたりは第2話以降の見どころを明かしてくれました。本渡さんが「第2話にはスパイに一番向いていない敵が現われます。敵が現れるということで、いままで学生だった太陽がスパイとして守らないといけなくなる。そこで太陽が奮闘する模様が描かれるんです。第2話はとくにテンポが良くて。アフレコは大変だったよね？」と言うと、「大変でしたね。実は太陽がツッコミ役なんですよね。がむしゃらで第1話はやりましたけど、そこから第2話では太陽が覚悟を見せなくてはいけない。そこはすごくがんばりました」と川島さん。あらたなふたりの一面が観られる第2話への期待が高まります。
最後におふたりからメッセージが贈られました。
「この作品とは長い時間関わっているけど、第1話がオンエアされても、まだ実感がわかないですね。これはきっと第1話の最後の太陽と同じような気持ちなのかもしれません。きっと今日寝るときか、明日起きたときに実感が湧くのかもしれないなって思います」といまの心境を明かしてくれた川島さん。
「今日の特別な時間は忘れることはないだろうなと思いますし、こちらをご覧になった方も忘れてほしくないなって思いますね。ユニバーサル・スタジオ・ジャパンにお邪魔して、みんなでいっしょに第1話を見れたことで、みんなとも家族感を感じます。ここから始まるということで、長いお付き合いになったらいいなと思います。まずは連続2クール、お楽しみください！」と本渡さんがまとめてくださいました。
