A fifth grade elementary school student belonging to Meiko Wind FSC. He grew up in a privileged environment as the son of Olympic silver medalist Shinichiro Otori, and is childhood friends with Hikaru, but he has a twisted side to him. He is sarcastic and cheeky towards people he doesn’t trust.

I was originally a fan of the original work, so when I heard that I had passed the audition I was delighted and gave myself a GOE of +5.
In the original work, I was captivated by the careful yet powerful descriptions, and my heart was warmed by the way the main character, Buddy, always runs forward with his head held high.
The excitement on set seemed to be even higher because such an emotionally stirring work was being made into an anime!
The character I will be playing, Riou, appears to be a boy who is always saying nasty things, but the more you get to know his motives, the more you will like him.
Just as he puts all his effort into figure skating, I also want to put all my effort into Riho’s performance.
Take on the challenge with ease! Look forward to the broadcast.
A third-grader who Inori met at the same skating rink. She has a bad temper and doesn’t listen to what adults say, but for some reason she likes Inori and they become good friends. Her nickname is “Mike.” She speaks the Mikawa dialect.

When I first read the original work, and when I first met Mike, I had a strong desire to be involved in this series.
The power that comes through from the work and the enthusiasm of the characters are truly dazzling, warm and endearing…it’s such a wonderful work!

She is the head coach of Gravity Sakuradori FSC, the team Mike belongs to. She is a lively older sister who has childish exchanges with Mike, and is skilled at dealing with the strong-willed Mike. Her nickname is “Nacchin.”

Every time I read Medalist, my heart is warmed by the passion and obsession of each character, and it is a work that has brought me to tears many times, so I am really happy to be able to take part in the role of Mario this time.
Mario is Mike’s teacher, but even though the two are teacher and student, they also have a friendship-like relationship.
That’s a big difference between us and other teacher-student pairs, and it’s also one of the reasons why I was able to team up with Mike, so I tried to cherish the unique atmosphere between the two of us, and above all, I performed with the desire to lead Mike to victory and my love for Mike in mind.
