Netflix’s live-action version of “One Piece” has begun its long-awaited second season! New cast members playing Baroque Works have been revealedSeason 2 of the live-action Netflix series based on the manga “ONE PIECE” has begun. This time, new cast members who will play members of Baroque Works, a secret criminal organization popular in the original work that will stand in the way of the “Straw Hat Crew” in the sequel, have been announced.

One Piece, currently serialized by Eiichiro Oda in Weekly Shonen Jump, is a maritime adventure romance that is one of Japan’s most popular worldwide. It depicts the epic story of the Straw Hat Pirates, led by Monkey D. Luffy, setting out on the open seas in search of the One Piece, the treasure left behind by the legendary pirate king Gold Roger. The live-action version of the Netflix series made a big splash with season 1 entering the top 10 in 93 countries and topping the charts in 46 countries immediately after its release.

The second season, which is about to begin, will depict a voyage on the “Grand Line,” an ocean of adventure that goes beyond common sense. New cast members have been revealed to play members of Baroque Works, a secret criminal organization popular in the original work that will stand in the way of the Straw Hat Pirates in the sequel.

Mr. 9 will be played by Daniel Lasker, a rising star known for his work on Raised by Wolves, Mr. 5 will be played by Camrus Johnson, known for his work on Batwoman, and Miss Valentine will be played by Jazara Jaslin, known for her work on Warrior.

In addition, the role of Mr. 3 will be played by David Dastmalchian, a talented actor who has appeared in a number of Hollywood blockbusters, including the three films in the Ant-Man series, Blade Runner 2049, The Suicide Squad, Dune, and Oppenheimer.

Season 1, which created a frenzy around the world, was set in Luffy’s hometown, the East Blue, and depicted a fierce battle with rough pirates such as Buggy and Arlong, as well as the origins of the Straw Hat Pirates’ adventure. Luffy and his companions finally became wanted men, a kind of pirate medal, and set out on the Grand Line, each with their own dreams.

How will these newly announced characters appear? Although the full details are still shrouded in mystery, expectations are high for the story full of twists and turns and adventure that the newly assembled cast of actors from around the world will weave together with the Straw Hat Crew.
