Details of the second giveaway for moviegoers, “Shogun Good Things Fortune Telling Tin Badges,” which will be distributed starting on Friday, June 28th, the second week of the film’s release, have been released!

The second edition of the “Shogun Good Things Fortune Telling Tin Badge” will be distributed from Friday, June 28th, the second week of the release, and is an item that prominently features Tokugawa Shigeshige, the young Shogun of the Edo Shogunate and a key figure in this episode.

The lineup includes 12 different badges, including the heroic figures of Shigeshige, who has made a big impact every time he has appeared in the series and has endured various hardships, as well as his iconic “mushy briefs.” In addition to the gorgeous hologram design, it also comes with a one-word fortune slip that matches the scene, making it a special badge that is only possible for the “Gintama on Theater 2D” screening, and is full of playfulness.

“Gintama” (Sorachi Hideaki/Shueisha Jump Comics) is a hugely popular manga that was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” (Shueisha), with a total of over 58 million copies in print.

It is an exhilarating entertainment packed with hilarious gags, spectacular action, and human emotions and bonds, and has been made into a television and theatrical anime series (produced by BN Pictures) and a live-action film.

In addition, it has been announced that the spin-off novel “3-nen Z-gumi Ginpachi Sensei” (author: Tomohito Osaki / based on the original work by Hideaki Sorachi) will be adapted into an anime in March 2023, and is currently in the process of being produced. Even after nearly 20 years since the series began, it continues to grow into a beloved content that continues to entertain many fans through various media mixes.

It was adapted into a TV anime series in 2006, with a total of 367 episodes broadcast before the series’ final episode on October 7, 2018. Furthermore, the film version of the anime was released in 2010 as “Gintama: The Movie – The New Benizakura Arc”, in 2013 as “Gintama: The Movie – The Final Chapter – Be Forever Yorozuya”, written by the original author Sorachi Hideaki, and in 2021 as “Gintama: The Final”, a film depicting the end of the original story.

Directed by Yuichi Fukuda and starring Shun Oguri, “Gintama” was released in 2017, and “Gintama 2: Rules are meant to be broken” was released in 2018, both of which were huge hits and gained new fans.
