An opening ceremony was held on the day of the opening, August 12th, with special supporters Magical Lovely’s Noda Crystal and Hinatazaka46’s Sasaki Kumi taking to the stage, and Shimofuri Myojo’s Seiiya also appearing via video.

First, Fuji TV announcer Ikuta, who was the host of the ceremony, announced the details of the ceremony and then introduced the guests.
When Noda and Sasaki took the stage, they each commented on their enthusiasm for the event, saying, “I’m very happy to be given the opportunity to do official One Piece work! I’ve done a lot of research and such, so it feels like I’ve finally been recognized, and I’d like to do my best!” (Noda), and “I was three years old when the anime started, and it’s no exaggeration to say that One Piece taught me everything! I’m very happy to be able to participate as a special supporter!” (Sasaki).
The opening commemorative talk session began with the two guests who are full of love for the TV anime “ONE PIECE”, and when asked about their impressions of looking around the magnificent event venue, Noda said, “Wow, there are so many things written specifically for this event that I wonder if it’s okay. It’s amazing, I’m at a loss for words (Noda),” and Sasaki said, “I could really feel the love of the people who made it. There are so many intricate settings that you could stay there all day, and it makes me want to watch the anime from the beginning again (Sasaki).” It seemed that they were quite impressed.
At this point, Seiya, one of the special supporters who was unable to attend the event, appeared in a video message and said, “It’s unfortunate that I’m the only one who can’t participate today. Instead, I’d like to ask you two a quiz! Try to get all the questions right! (Seiya)” He then suddenly asked a quiz question, “What was the situation when you first watched the TV anime ‘One Piece’?” (Seiya)
Noda and Sasaki, who were in the audience, answered, “Isn’t this Seiya’s quiz? It has nothing to do with ‘ONE PIECE’? Maybe he watched it when he was seriously injured and hospitalized and wrapped up in bandages? (Noda)” and “I watched the first episode at my grandpa’s house. (Sasaki)” When Noda told them the correct answer, “The correct answer was Ryota’s house, which lives in Building 4 of the Kounoike housing complex! (Seiya),” Noda retorted, “I don’t know!! Seiya! You’re just being dismissive because you’re not coming to the set! (Noda)” and Sasaki said, “Eh, I was wondering if it was the housing complex… how frustrating! (Sasaki),” revealing that their answer was actually close.
Next, he asked the question, “Who is my favorite character in One Piece? (Seiya) Look at my imitation and guess.” While various speculations were flying around, such as “That’s obvious, isn’t it? (Sasaki)” and “You can do whatever you want (Noda),” he said, “The correct answer was Kizaru! (Seiya).” The two who got the answer right also seemed happy, saying, “That was easy! (Sasaki).” Finally, he said, “Guess the character I drew. (Seiya),” and a visual of a human figure that immediately showed his lack of artistic talent was displayed on the screen.
Noda responded with dissatisfaction, saying, “It just looks like a praying mantis! Was there such a thing? (Noda).” “The correct answer was when Hyogoro-oyabun was young! It’s a shame I can’t go today, but I hope to visit during the event! (Seiya),” he commented, and the audience burst into laughter, saying, “You don’t have enough information! Come to the venue right now! Apologize! (Noda).” Finally, when asked about what each guest thought were the highlights of the event, they spoke of its appeal, saying, “First of all, when you come to the venue, you’re intimidated. Of course. You’re intimidated by the incredible production of the anime. I hope everyone will come and see it and be overwhelmed. (Noda)” and “I think this place is packed with the love of many people! I hope you’ll come here this summer and be moved! (Sasaki).”
