We have now decided to collaborate with the National Agriculture and Food Research Organization, an organization that conducts research and development in a wide range of fields with the goal of promoting the development of agriculture and the food industry!

The NARO’s special website features a page introducing the latest rice-growing technologies along with characters from the series, as well as interviews with researchers who helped create the rice-growing scenes in the anime.

In addition, a special exhibition will be held from August 20, 2024, which will feature actual farming tools used by Sakunahime and her friends in the anime, as well as a photo spot where you can take photos with the characters.

NARO is an organization that conducts research and development in a wide range of fields, from basic to applied, for the development of agriculture and the food industry in Japan. It is the largest research organization in Japan in this field, and conducts research activities at research bases located all over the country.

Our organization has its origins in the Agricultural Experiment Station of the Ministry of Agriculture and Commerce, which was established in 1893 (Meiji 26). After a period as a testing and research institute of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, it was established as an independent administrative institution in 2001 (Heisei 13).
