The official trailer, depicting the fierce battle between humans and AI, has now been released!
The trailer depicts the increasingly intense battle between humans and AI, with meaningful words such as “The end of the world is approaching” and “Is it worth saving humanity?”. What is shown there is a dark and hard-hitting action and story. It foreshadows the birth of a completely new story that is full of excitement, centered around the world of “Terminator.”
Japan, 1997. Scientist Malcolm Lee (voice: Uchida Yuya) was researching the creation of a new AI called “Kokoro” (voice: Tanezaki Atsumi) that could counter Skynet. However, Skynet of the future, seeing the completion of the system as a threat, sends in the Terminator (voice: Mamiya Yasuhiro) as an assassin to eliminate Malcolm and stop the completion of the system. And Eiko (voice: Yukinari Toa), a member of the resistance fighting for the people to stop Malcolm’s elimination, also travels back in time from the future. Who should “survive” – humanity or AI?
In the video, Malcolm tells his son Kenta (voice: Shimono Hiro) that “knowledge is power. With knowledge, you can resist power,” and immerses himself in Kokoro’s research. In the process, Malcolm has a conversation with Kokoro, who asks him, “Tell me, what is the value of saving humanity?” Malcolm struggles to find an answer, but in the meantime, a cold-hearted Terminator sent from the future approaches.
And Eiko of Resistance also rushes to find Malcolm, and in the process, as depicted in the video, a bloody battle between “humanity vs. AI” breaks out. Even Malcolm’s own child is exposed to the threat of the Terminator, but what will be the outcome of his conversation with Kokoro? And will Eiko be able to ward off the threat of the Terminator? Is humanity really meant to survive?
