There has been a great deal of interest in the production process of “Look Back,” as Director Oshiyama was particular about creating a “hand-drawn feel,” preserving as many of the lines and nuances of the original drawings as possible.

In addition, the film will be released nationwide in Dolby Cinema and Dolby Atmos starting today, Friday, September 13th, and a comment has been received from Haruka Nakamura, the composer who composed the theme song and background music.
“The sound that was reborn with Dolby Atmos was like a choir falling from the heavens, and it was a whole new sound experience,” he said, speaking of the appeal of the three-dimensional sound unique to Dolby Atmos. “We’re happy to say that many people have watched it multiple times, so we encourage everyone to return to the cinema to experience the new sounds.”
We revisited the Lookback soundtrack to retune it for Dolby Cinema and Dolby Atmos audio at Studio Sound City with engineers Toshihiko Kasai and Tomoya Katsuta.
The sound reborn in Dolby Atmos was like a choir singing from the heavens, and it was a new sound experience. Fortunately, the film has been well received and has had a long run, so it has been decided to release it in Dolby Cinema and Dolby Atmos, and I am grateful to be able to enjoy the film for so long.
We are pleased to hear that many people have seen the film multiple times, so we urge you to return to the cinema to experience the new sounds.
