Love is a war. The “love battle of wits” where “the one who falls in love loses!” has finally been settled! Private Shuchiin Academy is attended by the children and sons of Japan’s leading wealthy families. Student council president Shirogane Miyuki (Hirano Sho), who is a brilliant student and a regular at the top of national mock exams, and student council vice president Shinomiya Kaguya (Hashimoto Kanna), a beautiful girl who excels in both academics and sports and is the daughter of a large conglomerate. In fact, the two are attracted to each other and confirm their love for each other in the “Student Council Election,” the most heated battle in the school’s history! — Or so it seemed, but although Shirogane was re-elected president, the love battle between the two was still undecided…
The student council has reunited with new members Ishigami Yu (Sano Hayato), Fujiwara Chika (Asakawa Rina), and Iino Miko (Kageyama Yuka), the accounting auditor. Although Shirogane and Kaguya are still in love with each other, they are still unable to escape the curse that “the one who confesses loses!” and in the sacred student council room, they are engaged in a love battle to “make the other person confess”. Then, the school’s two biggest events, the “Sports Festival” and the “Culture Festival”, come together. Past incidents also come into play one after another, and the battle between Shirogane and Kaguya heats up!
A fate awaits, a trap set up. And the stage of the battle is the world! A battle of wits between two geniuses who are clumsy and pure when it comes to love. Will they be able to make the other person confess their feelings this time? The conclusion of their love story will finally unfold!
