The synopsis and preview cuts for episode 1 have now been released.
A young man named Ikaruga Natsuki lost his right leg in an accident when he was a child. Feeling unable to find hope in life, he returns to his hometown, which has become an isolated island due to rising sea levels.
In order to raise funds to buy a new prosthetic leg, Natsuo heads to salvage his late grandmother’s house, which is at the bottom of the ocean, where he meets a mysterious girl (humanoid) sleeping in a capsule. The humanoid calls herself Atori and declares that she will become Natsuo’s leg.
