On the official website he is introduced as “an egocentric, sadistic, tyrannical demon”, but when the fifth episode of the anime was aired, his extreme innocence caused question marks to fly around in the minds of viewers (What does it mean to be egocentric and sadistic…????).
Since the anime version is advertised as a “musical anime,” every episode has a song in it. Be sure to listen to the character songs, where you can enjoy Subaru’s beautiful voice and rap.
Another point to note is that the game version, which was released for the PS Vita after the anime aired, is probably the only consumer otome game currently in which the character voiced by Kimura Subaru is a conquerable target.
Even in the individual routes in the game, Nanashiro Meiji fully demonstrates his reliability as a big brother, and Subaru’s acting moved me emotionally countless times in the four completely different endings.
