She is Shion’s doting older sister.
Although she can be a bit selfish, she has a cheerful personality. She
is good at physical activities and is learning swordsmanship in order to protect Shion.

What if you could use magic? Have you ever thought that?
However, this world is one where the concept of magic doesn’t exist. The story begins with creating
it. I was honored to be chosen to take on this challenge as Shion.
The cast is also very luxurious, surrounded by wonderful co-stars and staff, and while the atmosphere is friendly, I feel a good sense of tension as I interact with everyone, and I face the recordings with that.
I hope this warm magic will reach those who are familiar with the original work and those who will meet it in the future.

I was attracted to Marie’s straightforward personality, her deep love for her younger brother Sion, and her dedication in working hard for him, so I was very happy when I heard the results of my audition.

It was my dream to have my work made into an anime. When I first published my work, I set a big goal of having it made into an anime at least once in my life, and I have been working hard on writing it until today. I never thought it would actually come true, and when I heard about it, I remember having the typical reaction of wondering if it was a dream.

The protagonist is a modern man who longed for magic, but suddenly dies and is reincarnated as Shion in another world. He hopes that he might be able to use magic in the other world, but finds out that magic does not exist. Shion is depressed, but one day, he is taken by his sister Marie and witnesses a mysterious phenomenon, which leads him to begin “magic research.”
リスティア国の片田舎の領地を治める下級貴族、オーンスタイン家。そこには、二人の姉弟がいた。
姉のマリーは、父から剣術の稽古を受けるのが大好きな活発な女の子。
弟のシオンは、部屋に籠もって本を読むのが大好きな内気な男の子。
性格は正反対の二人だが、優しい両親に見守られながら、仲睦まじく暮らしていた。
そんなある日、シオンは『まほう』というものがこの世界に存在するか、父に尋ねる。
しかし、貴族としてそれなりの教養がある父でも、『まほう』という言葉自体を知らなかった。
ましてや、シオンが言う「火とか水とか風とか光とか、何もないところからいろんなものを出したりする」現象など、この世には存在するはずもなく……。
その日から、シオンは目に見えて落ち込んでしまう。
