Daisuke Namikawa, Subaru Kimura, Hiro Shimono, and Mutsumi Tamura have been selected as additional voice actors for “Garfield the Cat”! Comment from Kimura has arrivedThe third batch of information on the Japanese voice actors for the movie “Garfield the Cat,” which will be released nationwide on Friday, August 16, 2024, has been released!

The appearances of Namikawa Daisuke, Kimura Subaru, Shimono Hiro, and Tamura Mutsumi have been confirmed, and Kimura’s comment has arrived.

Daisuke Namikawa plays Barry, a blue bird who is a minion of the boss cat Jinx who stands in the way of Garfield and his friends. He flatters Jinx repeatedly, but an unexpected turn of events occurs…

In the story, Garfield and Odie are taken to a shelter with Garfield’s father, Vic, and there they meet some rescued cats who are old friends of Garfield’s. Maurice, the leader of the group, whose eye patch on his left eye gives him an air of being something special, is played by Subaru Kimura.

Hiro Shimono will play Snickers, a friend of Maurice with long purple hair, and Mutsumi Tamura will play Olivia, another friend of Maurice with green hair growing sideways on her cheeks. Although there are only a few scenes in which Maurice and the other cats from the shelter appear, they are important characters who help Garfield learn about a certain feeling that Vic has been keeping secret for a long time.

I’m really looking forward to the new Garfield movie that I’ve loved since I was a child.
