A video project has begun in which members of “PROTOSTAR,” “LEGIT,” and “JAXX/JAXX” aim to clear a dungeon.

The released video shows members of UniteUp!’s PROTOSTAR, LEGIT, and JAXX/JAXX taking on the Shinjuku dungeon-cruising experience facility, THE TOKYO MATRIX.

In this project, participants will use their wisdom and teamwork to take on a number of difficult quests in order to win a certain grand prize. One after another, unexpected problems and mishaps will arise, and you can enjoy the colorful characters and unexpected true faces of each member who aims to clear the quests.

“UniteUp!” is a multi-dimensional idol project brought to you by Sony Music. The

project features three new idols, “PROTOSTAR” (protostar), who are singers themselves;

“LEGIT” (legit), a talented idol with high dance performance skills;

“JAXX/JAXX” (jack-jack), an idol band with a strong bond; and

“Anela”, a former legendary idol who leads them as the representative of the agency.

The 13 characters and cast members are sometimes voice actors, and sometimes artists, and are active in two dimensions (anime) and three dimensions (live performances), truly “multiple dimensions.”

The project began in December 2021 when the group released a song on YouTube. The TV anime “UniteUp!” will air in January 2023, and in July of the same year, the group will hold a solo concert “sMiLea LIVE -Unite with You-” linked to the final episode of the anime. With the second season of the anime scheduled to air in January 2025, this is a highly anticipated project that will see the group release songs and hold live shows with vigor.
