The “Akutami Gege “Jujutsu Kaisen” Exhibition” will showcase the digital creative process of the manga “Jujutsu Kaisen,” including commentary from the author.
How were the stories, characters, and illustrations created, evolved, and elevated to new heights? One of the highlights of the exhibition is the generous display of the precious names and rough drafts that were created before they became the finished manuscripts.
In the collaborative project “Hikarie Incident” to commemorate this, the museum will be decorated with illustrations from the Jujutsu Kaisen manga drawn by Akutami, and six photo spots will be set up. There will also be life-size panels of Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical College students Itadori Yuji, Fushiguro Megumi, Kugisaki Nobara, Gojo Satoru, and Mahito and Kousaku, who caused the Shibuya Incident, as well as a panel where you can experience being sealed into the Gokumonkyo. You can experience the moment of sealing to your heart’s content.
Also, starting August 1, the “Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition Support Fair” will be available at participating cafes and restaurants in the museum, offering original menu items. A variety of menu items will be available, each featuring a two-tone depiction of the characters who faced off against each other in the “Shibuya Incident” in the work: “Itadori Yuji x Choso”, “Fushiguro Megumi x Fushiguro Jinji”, “Kugisaki Nobara x Mahito”, “Gojo Satoru x Kousaku”, and “Ryoumen Sukuna x Makyōra”. Customers who order from these support fair menu items will also receive a limited-edition original sticker.
The “Hikarie Incident”, a collaboration project at Shibuya Hikarie to commemorate the opening of the “Akutami Gege “Jujutsu Kaisen” Exhibition, will feature photo spots set up from July 6th to August 27th, and a “Support Fair” from August 1st to 27th. If you are visiting the exhibition, be sure to stop by.
