The visual released this time shows the main character, euphonium player Kumiko Oumae (voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa), and her best friend, trumpet player Reina Kosaka (voiced by Chika Anzai), standing back to back with a night view in the background.
Kumiko and Reina have made a promise to play the euphonium and trumpet solo parts together at the national competition, and have been working hard to improve their skills.
In the 12th episode, “The Final Soloist,” which aired today, the soloist to be selected through an internal audition format was decided to be Reina for the trumpet, but a re-audition for the euphonium was held between Kumiko and Kuroe Mayu (CV: Tomatsu Haruka), a new transfer student who appears in this series.
After the audition, which was held in a masked format so that no one knew who was playing the instrument, Kumiko and Reina met again at Mt. Daikichi, a place that holds many memories for the two of them and where they have spent a lot of time together.
What did the two, who worry a lot about their desire to win the gold prize at the national competition in the final competition of their high school lives, their future together, and even their relationship, and who even clash in this film, talk about in this place?

The 12th episode, “The Last Soloist,” which just finished airing, will be available for streaming on NHK Plus and Lemino from noon on Monday, June 24th.
The TV anime “Sound! Euphonium 3” is being broadcast every Sunday at 5pm on NHK Educational TV. It is also available on NHK Plus and Lemino every Monday at noon, and on other platforms from noon on Wednesdays. The final episode of the series, “Final Movement,” will air next week on June 30th.
