Each time, we send out a “Switch Interview” in two parts: EP1 and EP2 (29 minutes each). Broadcasting from June 28th (Friday) is a conversation between Kenjiro Tsuda, who is active as a voice actor and actor, and Daiki Tsuneda, leader of the rock band “King Gnu.”
EP1 was held at Mr. Tsuneda’s private music studio, and EP2 was held at Kojima Productions’ dubbing studio where Mr. Tsuda was recording Japanese audio for the game “DEATH STRANDING 2.”

He has taken the anime world by storm with his unique bass voice and expressiveness. Kenjiro Tsuda is a voice actor and actor who is currently gaining popularity among a wide range of generations, as he is also active as an actor. This time, Mr. Tsuda was eager to talk to Daiki Tsuneta, the leader of the rock band King Gnu.
Mr. Tsuda has been strongly attracted to the versatile Tsuneda, who not only plays guitar and vocals for the band, but also writes lyrics, composes music, and even directs music videos and live performances.
The two had never met, although they had indirectly worked together, such as Tsuneta writing the theme song for a work in which Tsuda participated as a voice actor. In January of this year, Tsuneta posted on SNS, “Kenjiro Tsuda and my brother look so much alike that I’ve mistaken them three times this year,” and the pair suddenly became closer.
This time, we were finally able to have a conversation. The two resonate with each other beyond their 20-year age difference. In the program, Mr. Tsuneda created an original sound source using Mr. Tsuda’s voice, and Mr. Tsuneda also took on the challenge of dubbing the NHK anime “Ojarumaru,” in which Mr. Tsuda has been participating for 20 years.

I find it very interesting how complex things are done in a very simple way, how things seem simple but are complicated, and how they seem to be elusive.
I wonder what kind of person he is after all. I think I’d like to see something closer to Tsuneta-san’s true nature.
I think it all started when I tweeted on SNS, “My brother and Tsuda-san look so much alike,” so this was a completely new encounter for me as well.
He gave a wonderful performance in his works, and I’ve always thought, “Ah, this is Tsuda-san” a lot. I’m really looking forward to it.
