This is the fourth year this event has been held, but it’s the first time it’s held on Isobe-san’s birthday! The guests will be Lynn for the first part and Rio Tsuchiya for the second part. A report on the first part of the event, which was full of fun projects!
This year marks the 4th birthday event “Isobe Karin’s Warm Otanjo Weather”. This time, with the theme of “A festival created by everyone,” we are looking for ideas from fans that they would like Isobe to do. Following on from last year’s piano performance, it was announced in advance that the first part would be a dance performance. So, what kind of birthday event was it?
As you enter the venue, you will be greeted by a life-sized panel of Isobe that was created as a visual for this event. There was a line of people waiting to take photos.
When it was time for the show to begin, Kyonao Miyahira of the comedy duo Seven by Seven, who served as MC just like last year, appeared. She called Mr. Isobe over, and she waved her hands with a smile and said, “Hey everyone!” as she approached the stage.
“Thank you very much for coming to the event. I look forward to this day every year. Today is the first birthday in the history of Pokaota, so yay! I want to express my gratitude to everyone even more than usual. I want everyone to go home having fun, just as everyone goes home thinking they had fun.”
Mr. Miyahira suggested, Since it's your birthday, let's all convey our congratulations. Say,
Happy birthday, Karin-chan!” Isobe, who was listening to the congratulatory words from everyone in the audience with his hands on his ears, said, “I’m so happy! Thank you!”
In addition, the balloon set on stage, the photo spot at the entrance, and the birthday cake were donated by fans through a website called Eltama, which made them “so happy!”
This time, the theme is “A Festival Created by Everyone,” and based on a survey collected from fans in advance, we asked fans to share things they would like to do, what they would like to hear, and what they would like to see planned with this guest. A proposal is included. She said she decided to take on the dance performance that was announced in advance because she had received requests for it.
The first corner is titled “Talk corner looking back at Karin Isobe from her childhood to her debut,” and introduces interviews with people close to Isobe. The first person was Mr. K, who was my classmate in junior high and high school. Regarding his memories from his school days with Karin-san,'' the two of them took photo purikura together and said,
I’ll give it to you tomorrow.” Even now, he still holds it together. It is said that the photo booth fee has not been paid. “I wish you’d just tell me because I see you so many times now! (lol)” However, it seems that the photo booth is no longer missing.
About the unexpected side of Karin-san'' is that although she likes cleanliness and is neat, there were a lot of quizzes that she returned to her desk at school. In response to this revelation, she desperately tries to make excuses by saying,
This is the first one!? There were better episodes, right? Oh, she’s from the Kansai region, so she has a habit of trying to make it interesting.” It’s cute. She also said that when she was a student, she had a big appetite, and she would eat breakfast → deli bread before class → omu soba bread between 3rd and 4th period → lunch → buy hot snacks at AP/PM after school. There is also a small episode where he was eating it.
Next up are Yutaka Matsuzaki (according to Mr. Isobe, they have a father-son relationship) and Kaoru Marimura (they are apart in age, but in their personal lives they are almost the same age), who co-starred in the play “K”. Isobe seems happy that Matsuzaki praised his amount of practice and his serious approach to acting. Marimura, a member of the Takarazuka Revue, revealed that when she and Isobe went to see a play in Takarazuka, there were many OGs nearby, and everyone assumed that Isobe was also a Takarazuka OG. He gave it to me.
