This is my first time creating a theme song for an anime, so I was very happy when I was approached! !
When I heard the story of “Midnight Punch”, I couldn’t help but smile and my heart fluttered due to the pleasant, abrupt feel of the setting!
The ending theme song “Edit Point” is completely different from the opening song, and is a song that expresses Masaki’s confusion.
I composed the song with the aim of creating a song that you can relate to and want to listen to over and over again.
In order to express a sense of chaos in the performance of the opening song, “Gimme Gimme,” I intentionally played the piano melody at a speed that made it feel strange, and I used a lot of mechanisms that I don’t normally do.

name is John Kanda and I was in charge of composing and arranging the opening theme song for Midnight Punch'', Gimme Gimme”.
From the first meeting when I received the offer, the production team was very passionate about it, and I wanted to live up to that passion, so I worked hard on it.
As the title suggests, we focused on the nighttime atmosphere of the song and the hectic story woven by the characters, and aimed to create something that could be proudly and squarely proclaimed as an anime song.

“Edit point” was created by me adding the beat and melody to the piano motif that Harami-chan came up with.
I was nervous about what kind of song it would be, but the moment I heard Matsui’s lyrics and Masaki’s song at the end, I remember feeling strongly, “This is Mayopan’s song!”
It was a fun production, with the necessary pieces coming together one after another with each person’s hands.

「真夜中ぱんチ」のメンバー。ギャンブルとお金をこよなく愛する強欲ヴァンパイア。とんでもない自由人で、面倒なことが大嫌い。晩杯荘に住み着いており、部屋にはみんなに隠している秘密がある……?
