This time, for the first time in the history of “ANIMAX MUSIX”, a free live broadcast was held on the video distribution service “Lemino®”. The official report of this live show, which was a huge hit not only at the venue but also on SNS, has arrived, with many productions befitting the anniversary year, such as extravagant secret artists and collaboration covers.
In addition, a comment video from GRANRODEO, a performing artist, has been released in preparation for the free missed broadcast of the entire episode, which will begin at noon on Saturday, April 6th.
Even before the distribution started, social media was buzzing with the hashtag “#MUSIX Thank You for 0 Yen Live Streaming,” as well as expectations for the set list and supportive comments for the artists. Some voices make predictions. The mood of the participants at the venue and the streaming viewers were already united even before the performance started, and a gorgeous opening performance befitting the anniversary year began, and the LIVE finally started.
First of all, Yu Serizawa feat. MOTSU appeared as the top batter. The music video has been viewed over 5 million times on YouTube, and they perform “JUNGLE FIRE feat. MOTSU”, which is well-known as the theme song for the TV anime “MF Ghost”. Furthermore, with “EVERYBODY! EVERYBODY!” the voltage in the venue quickly reached its peak! The call and response was such that you could feel the sense of unity in the venue even through the screen, and there were already comments on social media saying that the first group was 100% satisfied.
Next came Philosophy’s dance. Their signature performances, such as “Brand New Dance,” “Netsufu wa Natsutenru,” and “Cream Puff Funk,” made it seem as if the venue had turned into a dance floor. There were also fans who watched it live and viewers who were captivated by it the first time they saw it.
The first project corner is “Speak out! SELECTION”! Miyu Tomita and Candrion joined Philosophy’s dance, and a total of 10 people sang the theme song “Tantei Opera Kanojo no Milky Holmes” theme song “The correct answer is one! Janai!!”! This was followed by a “Q&A recital!” by Sandrion, and a whirlpool of enthusiasm was created as the fans and artists who packed the venue cheered as one. Fans who were watching the video live posted their responses, and as the name of the corner suggests, it was clear that they wanted to shout out on site.
Next up was Nako Misaki, who made her debut as a solo artist last year. “Dancing! Singing! Feeling!” also featured a performance using a trolley, and her predictions about the production on SNS before the performance were exactly right. During Sweet Sign,'' Miyu Tomita's sweet singing voice resounded throughout the venue, and Miyu Tomita, still brimming with enthusiasm, performed Broken Sky” and Paradoxes,'' drawing the audience into her own worldview. There were also comments such as The ability to change the color of the penlights is too quick,” and the sense of unity in the venue was felt even through the screen.
Entering “FAN SELECTION,” which can be said to be the best part of “ANIMAX MUSIX,” JUNNA covers “Bluebird” from the TV anime “NARUTO Shippuden,” and Nako Misaki covers “Yusha” from the TV anime “Funeral Freeren.” . The unexpected cover immediately flooded the timeline with excited comments from fans. And Yu Serizawa feat. MOTSU×SAT from fripSide passionately performed ALTIMA’s “CYBER CYBER” and “Burst The Gravity.” MOTSU’s line, “Dake it to the heavens!” made both the fans at the venue and the fans who were watching it on stream think. As if expressing uncontrollable emotions, “ALTIMA” became a music trend on her X.
Next, Kaori Ishihara, who is active not only as a voice actress but also in various fields and is full of talent, showed off her talent as an artist with songs such as “Cherish” and “Gift,” and won the “ANIMAX MUSIX NEXTAGE 2023”, the gateway to success for young anime music artists. Candrion appears again from last time. The momentum captivated the audience, with some fans clapping through the screen.
We entered “ANIMAX MUSIX 2009 SELECTION” singing the song “FAN SELECTION” from the first performance. Miyu Tomita covered the national hit song “A Cruel Angel’s Thesis” and Ayaka Ohashi covered Nana Mizuki’s famous song “ETERNAL BLAZE”, and the venue was covered in orange. It was a fitting memorial for the 15th anniversary, and social media was flooded with voices filled with nostalgia.
As the first half finally reached its climax, Miku Ito, a regular at “ANIMAX MUSIX,” appeared with her biggest smile. Her smile was visible even through the screen, and her cute performances of “Senki Heartbeat” and “Now On Air” showed no signs of slowing down the excitement on SNS as well as the venue.
The first half features Minori Chihara, who celebrated her 20th anniversary as a 15th Anniversary Special Artist. Comments of I've been waiting for you!'' flooded in all at once, and cheering comments were concentrated on the character song Toshido Uta” from the TV anime Horizon on the Middle of Nowhere,'' and for a time it became impossible to load SNS posts. Next, she sang "TERMINATED", and then she sang "Paradise Lost" in collaboration with May'n! A viewer said, I can’t help but laugh at this strongest collaboration!” At the end, she sang “Michishirube” with all her heart and brought the first half to a spectacular close.
見どころ満載過ぎる前半に、休憩中もSNSで感想コメントが止まないなか、後半がスタート。前半の熱が少し落ち着いたかと思いきや、西川貴教の登場で再び熱狂の渦に！社会現象となった『機動戦士ガンダム SEED FREEDOM』の主題歌「FREEDOM」に、「この曲で後半始まるとは予想していなかった！」と驚きと興奮のコメントでタイムラインが埋まる。「Bright Burning Shout」「Eden through the rough」と計3曲のパフォーマンスはまさに圧巻！ファンの狂気にも似た盛り上がりは画面越しにも伝わり、配信視聴者も熱くなった。
続く「FAN SELECTION」では、昨今のアニメミュージックブームを象徴する TVアニメ『【推しの子】』の「アイドル」を i☆Risがカバー。続けて岬なこ×石原夏織が 「アイデン貞貞メル トダ ウン」ではダンサーを従えて、 「TOUGH BOY」をJUNNA×GRANRODEO と豪華コラボレーションで披露。怒涛のコラボ・カバーに、「目が離せない」「無料で見ていいのか」といったコメントや言葉にならない「！！」だけの歓声投稿が続いた。
音楽プロデュースも手掛けるなどマルチに音楽的才能を発揮する、やなぎなぎが「ラテラリティ」「ユキハルアメ」「ビードロ模様」の3曲を歌唱。ファン待望の曲が盛り込まれたセットリストに驚きや感謝のコメントがSNS上に多数見られた。アーティストデビュー10周年でアジアツアーも予定し、「ANIMAX MUSIX」にソロ名義だけでも10度出演する大橋彩香が元気いっぱいにトロッコで「NOISY LOVE POWER☆」を歌唱。さらに新曲「Flash Summit!!」を初披露。楽しそうなパフォーマンスに視聴者も「嬉しい！」と画面越しに元気をもらう。世界に通じるアニメミュージックの魅力を感じさせてくれた。
Part３となる「FAN SELECTION」では、伊藤美来が自身も出演していたアニメ作品の主題歌「たゆたえ、七色」を、フィロソフィーのダンスが「最Ψ最好調！」と、ファンとアーティストで創り上げる、これぞ「ANIMAX MUSIX」という光景が広がっていった。またもや予想していなかったカバーに、思わず転げ落ちた視聴者も続出。
続いてアニメミュージック界で確固たる地位を築く fripSide が第3期として初登場。「black bullet -version2023-」「infinite Resonance」「Red Liberation」を、力強く美しい歌声の上杉真央と、奇跡の歌声と評される透明感ある歌声の阿部寿世が美しいハーモニーで会場を盛り上げ、SNS上では「現地に行きたい…！」のコメントが止まらない。
ここで初めての企画コーナーとなる「GAME MUSIC SELECTION」に突入。GRANRODEO×茅原実里が「Rumblinghearts」を、石原夏織×やなぎなぎが「鳥の詩」を、名曲を豪華コラボでの連続歌唱に、驚きの声と共に再度「無料で見ていいのか」のSNSコメントが。
ここでシークレットアーティストKOTOKOの登場！会場はとまどいを見せながらどよめきが大歓声へと変わる！「Face of Fact」「さくらんぼキッス ～爆発だも～ん～[2022mix]」の2曲を歌唱。まさかの「ゲーソンの女王」の降臨で、会場はゲームミュージックの祭典に。「KOTOKO」「さくらんぼキッス」がXのトレンドにも入るほど、配信視聴者も大盛り上がりを見せた。
余韻冷めやらぬ中、JUNNAが会場に渦巻く熱気を弾き飛ばすかのように「Unite」「風の音さえ聞こえない」と熱いパフォーマンスを披露！続いてMUSIX常連のi☆Risが登場。「アルティメット☆MAGIC」と、5/17(金)より全国公開のi☆Ris10 周年プロジェクトの集大成である劇場版アニメの主題歌「愛 for you！」を披露して、「ANIMAX MUSIX」と同じくアニバーサリーにお祝いムードとなる。開演から4時間以上経っても、配信視聴者によるコメントはさらに増していた。
ここで最後の企画コーナー「デュオソング SELECTION」がスタート。上杉真央×阿部寿世 from fripSide による「逆光のフリューゲル」、大橋彩香×伊藤美来により「ALIVE」と、激アツな 2 曲、そして公演終盤となっても続く豪華コラボレーションに SNS 上でもひたすら驚きと歓声がやまず、休む暇を与えない。
満を持して、GRANRODEOが登場。e-ZUKA の「武蔵野の森ベイベー！」のMCが響く中、「鉄の檻」「情熱は覚えている」「Can Do」を立て続けに披露。もはや説明不要の貫禄のステージに、「配信でも伝わる迫力と熱気が半端ない！」と視聴者も熱いコメント。彼らのロックサウンドに聴く者の心は揺れ動かされる。
そしていよいよ大トリに「ANIMAX MUSIX」の第1回目公演から出演し、MUSIX を長年支え続けてきた May’nが登場。ますますパワーアップした歌声で「graphite/diamond」「LIES GOES ON」を披露し、「部長！！」「異次元の歌の上手さ」とファンの歓声投稿は止まらない。
そして、アニメミュージック界に留まらず名曲と誉れ高い「ライオン」のイントロが流れ始めたところで、SNSでは期待と困惑の声が広がり、そのまさかの期待に応えるかのように、2組目のシークレットアーティストとして中島愛が登場！滅多に目にすることが出来ない2人の「ライオン」に、ポストが読み込めなくなるほどの感謝と感動のコメントがあふれかえり、終演後は「ライオン」が納得のエンタメトレンド入り。アニメミュージックファンにとって至高の一時が訪れた。そして圧巻の「Chase the world」で LIVE を締めくくった。
エンディングでは、第1回目公演2009年「ANIMAX MUSIX-LINK TO THE WORLD」と同じラストセッション楽曲を、万感の想いを込めてオールキャストで「CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA」を大合唱。約6時間にわたる「ANIMAX MUSIX」アニバーサリーイヤーの幕開け LIVE は、配信視聴者も「ヘロヘロになりました」といったコメントを寄せるほど、見どころ満載すぎる充実した時間となり、終演を迎えた。そんな中、11/23(土・祝)横浜アリーナにて「ANIMAX MUSIX 2024」を開催することを発表し、アニメミュージックの広がりと勢いを印象付けた。
