First of all, I’d like to thank the many people who have been involved in getting to this point.
As a viewer, I would like to support Ruri and the others as they have now, in a good way, begun to move forward independently of my control.
There seem to be many elements that are unique to anime that even the artist himself would be excited about, such as colorful and beautiful depictions of minerals and nature that couldn’t be fully expressed in the manga.
I’m looking forward to seeing the undiscovered gems and Ruri and the others swinging their hammers in pursuit of them.
Ruri is a very cheerful, honest, and energetic girl, so I wanted to combine her power with detailed portrayal! I tried many different things and was very enthusiastic about the dubbing, but before I knew it, I was completely absorbed in Nagi’s story every time.
Just as Ruri was drawn in by the charm of minerals, I will do my best to make everyone enjoy this work!

Ever since I started reading the manga “Ruri no Houseki”, I have been interested in the world of stones depicted in it, so I am happy to be able to participate in the anime. I learn about new minerals in each episode, so I am reading the script with great interest.
Please look forward to the charm of beautiful things in nature and the characters who are passionate about them.
Tanigawa Ruri, a high school girl who loves sparkly things, heads to the mountains to look for crystals, thinking, “Maybe I can find one myself!” There, she meets Arato Nagi, a graduate student majoring in mineralogy, and they decide to collect minerals together.
Sometimes she walks mountain paths in search of crystals, other times she bathes in a river to pick up garnets, and other times she peers at unknown minerals through a microscope – guided by Nagi, Ruri dives into the world of mineral collecting.
“I should be able to pick some too.”
It’s a dream that everyone has had at some point.
A full-scale science adventure begins!
