The film demonstrates the breadth and depth of Tanezaki Atsumi’s expressiveness, from her normal appearance as a beautiful older sister to the cute, affectionate scenes between her and Prince Oscar, who ends up living with her for certain reasons.

・フリーレンは1000年の時を以上生きてきたエルフの魔法使いで魔法使いとしての能力はズバ抜けているのですがその他の生活面がだらしなく、可愛い所もある、見ていくうちに自然と惹かれていくキャラだと感じています。
しかし戦闘になると冷静な判断の元さすがの技術力で敵を圧倒していく姿は圧巻です。
そのギャップを演じきっている種崎敦美さんは凄いと感じました（10代・女性）
・少年役から少女役、時には人間以外の役など様々なキャラクターを演じている種﨑敦美さんですが、去年放送された「葬送のフリーレン」でフリーレンを担当した事で、今までの種﨑さんが演じたキャラ達とは別格と言えるほど印象に残った感じがしました。
魔法使いのフリーレンはエルフのため人間よりも長生きできるのですが、裏を返せば、そのせいで元々共に旅をしていた人間が寿命などのため自身より先に死を知ることにもなるため、特にヒンメルの死を目の当たりにすると、今まで人を知る事ができなかったことに後悔するようになり、改めて人を知るために旅に出る事を決意したキャラクターです。
普段クールな感じのフリーレンですが、基本的には面白い一面があったり、色々なフリーレンの演技を種﨑さんが演じた事でうまく演技できたのだろうと思います。
葬途のフリーレンこそ、種﨑敦美さんの最近の代表作と言える名作でしょう。（20代・男性）
