This work will be serialized in “FEEL YOUNG” (Shodensha) from the July 2017 issue and will be completed in the July 2023 issue. This is a story about the age difference between a shy novelist, Takashiro Makio, and his girlfriend’s niece, Tomo Tagumi, a girl who lost her parents in an accident.

The teaser visual includes an impressive monologue from the first episode of the original story, “Sleeping in the corner of the throne of the queen of a different country,” and shows Makio in a dark room with the lights off, immersed in writing at his computer, and on a futon. While entering the house, the picture depicts Asa pointing the smartphone camera at the side of her face, giving us a glimpse of a glimpse of the two’s life together.
This work is a hot topic that has won 4th place in the Manga Taisho 2019'', 5th place in the female edition of This Manga ga Sugoi! 2024”, and 1st place in Da Vinci’s “BOOK OF THE YEAR 2023” comic ranking. Prior to the anime adaptation, a live-action movie has also been decided, with Natsuki Seta as the director, Yui Aragaki and Ikari Hayase starring, and it will be released nationwide from June 7, 2024.
Animation production will be handled by Shuka , who also worked on the “Natsume’s Book of Friends” series . The main staff has also been announced: director Miyuki Oshiro , composition and screenplay by Kohei Kiyasu , character design by Kenji Hayama , and music by Kensuke Ushio .
