This time, the official report of the stage greeting and 40th anniversary ceremony at the world premiere screening of “Dragon Ball DAIMA” that was held at this event has arrived!
The stage greeting featured voice actors Masako Nozawa, Yumiko Kobayashi, Kouki Uchiyama, and Ai Fairouz, as well as executive producers and theme song artists. They spoke about their thoughts on the series, which will finally begin airing on Friday, October 11th.
As far as the eye could see, Tokyo Big Sight was filled with Dragon Ball content! With Dragon Ball fans gathered, the excitement in the venue reached a fever pitch, as a countdown video was projected onto the screen! The venue, which had been quiet, was transformed into an atmosphere where excitement could not be hidden.
Fuji TV announcer Toshihiro Ito appeared on stage with the greeting, “Good morning everyone! Welcome to today’s Dragon Ball Daimatsuri!” . Ito introduced , “Speaking of Dragon Ball, this is the person! Let’s have them come on stage right away!” and Masako Nozawa, known for her role as Son Goku, and executive producer Akio Ino appeared on stage! They were met with thunderous applause from the audience.
Announcer Ito asked , “Nozawa-san, Ino-san, how do you feel about having so many people from all over the country?” Nozawa replied, “I’m surprised and happy that so many people came!” Ino commented , “Everyone, you can have a happy day today! You’ll see something amazing in the first episode, so please look forward to it!” The venue was filled with a peaceful atmosphere. From here, the conversation turned to the topic of “Dragon Ball’s 40th anniversary.”
When asked by announcer Ito how she felt, Ino commented, “I’m overwhelmed with emotion that this day has finally come,” reflecting on her memories of her journey with Dragon Ball and expressing her passion. Next, Nozawa spoke of the series, which begins airing on Friday, October 11th, saying, “Just like everyone else, I’m looking forward to the broadcast, wondering what will happen next. I’m excited to see how things will unfold.”
And in the venue, there was a giant ball celebrating the 40th anniversary! And then Goku appeared on stage from the wings! The venue was in a frenzy! Nozawa-san, Ino-san, Goku, and the whole venue came together to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Dragon Ball.
Next on stage were Kobayashi Yumiko, who plays Kaiōshin (mini) in “Dragon Ball DAIMA,” Uchiyama Kouki, who plays Glorio, and Fairouz Ai, who plays Panji! The venue was filled with a murmur and further excitement.
When asked about her impressions when she first read the script for this work, Nozawa said , “Like everyone else, I was excited and enjoyed reading it, wondering what would happen next!” Next, a visual of Goku (mini) appeared on the screen, and Nozawa commented, “Isn’t he cute? He’s the best! He’s so strong!” , and the audience erupted in excitement.
Regarding the new characters, Kobayashi, who plays Kaiōshin (mini), said, “As Kaiōshin (mini), I’m honored to be able to adventure together with Goku as a pair.” Next, Uchiyama, who plays Glorio, commented, ” Glorio is a mysterious character. He has a cool personality and his emotions are hard to see .” Fairouz, who plays Panji, said, “Panji has an adult way of thinking and an older sister-like side, so he’s a fun character to interact with Goku .” Each of them shared their own thoughts.
さらに役が決まった際の⼼境について、ファイルーズさんは「世界中でたくさんの⼈に愛されている作品に携われることを名誉に思います」と語りました。内⼭さんも「まさかドラゴンボールの世界に⼊れるとは思っていなかったので、本当に幸運だと思います」とコメント。さらに⼩林さんは「⼩学校 4 年⽣からドラゴンボールが⼤好きで、野沢さんに憧れて声優になったので、35 年越しの夢が叶った」と、皆さんドラゴンボールのキャラクターを演じることを熱く深く語っていました。
コメントを聞いて伊能さんは「今回、⾊々なことが起きるストーリーの中で、まったく新しいキャラクターを演じるのは⼤変だと思うが、皆さん素晴らしく演じていただいている」と、皆さんの演技について語りました。
ここに来て、さらに会場が転換。トークは本作の楽曲に関する内容へ。今回オープニング主題歌を担当する C&K の⼆⼈、そしてエンディングテーマを担当する AI さんが登場︕C&Kの⼆⼈は今回の楽曲「ジャカ☆ジャ〜ン」 について、「戦いというよりは、仲間を⼤事にしたり、冒険にワクワクするようなイメージの曲」と話し、AI さんはエンディングテーマ『NAKAMA』について、「作品へのリスペクトを込めて作った」と語りました。
テーマ曲の担当に選ばれた時の⼼境について、C&K の⼆⼈は「通知が届いた時はドッキリかと思って、驚いて携帯を落としてしまった」と、当時の驚きを明かしました。AI さんも「決まった瞬間のことは、今思い出すだけでも泣きそうです」と、語りました。
C&K さんがオープニングを、続いて AI さんがエンディングを歌うと、新しいドラゴンボールの世界を表現した曲に、会場が⼀体となって聴き⼊り、⼤盛り上がりを⾒せ、歓声と拍⼿に包まれながらライブは終了しました。
⼤歓声の余韻が残るなか、登壇メンバー全員が再びステージに⽴ったところで、第1話のワールドプレミアを⽬前に控える会場のファンの⽅々に対し、登壇者を代表して野沢さん、伊能さんがコメント。
野沢さんは「今まで以上にもっともっと⾯⽩くなる作品だと思います。１⼈が４⼈を誘って観てくださいね。」とメッセージを送りました。そして伊能さんが「世界最速の公開です。今週の放送をみんなで観よう︕と周囲の⽅にお勧めいただければと思います！よろしくお願いします。」と語ると、ファンの⽅々からは、それに応えるように会場が割れんばかりの拍⼿が送られ、今回の舞台挨拶は幕を閉じました。
