She was joined by her sister, Maaya Uchida, who is also a voice actress and artist, and performed a total of 33 songs, including collaborative and solo songs.
The venue went dark, and as the opening video that stirred up the sense of expectation played, Uchida Yuuma and Uchida Maaya appeared on stage. The concert started with the theme song “Chemi-story” prepared for this joint live. After that, Uchida Yuuma performed the dance number “DangeR”, and Uchida Maaya performed “Romantic Dancer”, uniting the audience with the call of “Wow wow”. The venue was filled with excitement as the opening where each of their personalities collided.
After that, it was time for Maaya Uchida’s solo part. She performed her signature songs as an artist, “Youthful Beautiful” and “Souzan Innocence”, and then greeted with great energy, “Hello everyone, I’m Maaya Uchida! Welcome to “VS YUMA 001 – Maaya Uchida”! I’ll be leading the charge! It’s a two-man band show, so I’d like to get everyone excited together with my younger brother Yuuma! Let’s have fun together! I look forward to working with you!”
Following the choreography lesson for the next song, “Smiling Spiral,” they moved on to “take you take me BANDWAGON,” and there was even a corner during “Moratorium Dance Floor” where fans in the venue were allowed to take photos with their smartphones. The up-tempo songs created a sense of unity and a fulfilling atmosphere. As the excitement in the venue increased, they performed three songs, “cosmos,” “Setsuna Ring a Bell,” and “Strobe Memory.” After the unique music created by the group was played, the venue was filled with a warm atmosphere, and the audience was excited with the topic of Uchida Yuuma, “Thank you! Yuuma’s fans, Maaya’s fans, our fans! Yuuma’s fans are called Uchida Yuuma, so since everyone is Uchida Yuuma, I’m (everyone’s) older sister!?”
“So, I’d like to sing my brother’s song here! I’ll sing a different song from yesterday!”, she said, and then performed Yuuma Uchida’s 10th single, “Congrats!!”. The audience cheered in delight at the performance of a song that Maaya Uchida herself has declared to be her favorite. She then performed “Gimme! Revolution”, and then ran through the final sprint with songs from her latest album, including “RADIAL CITY”, completing her solo performance of all 15 songs.
After a transitional video featuring the main music video for “Carnival,” which was just released digitally on Wednesday, September 25th, and some behind-the-scenes shots, it was time for Uchida Yuuma’s part. He sang two songs, “Horizon” and “Hope,” with a carefree voice. “Welcome to VS YUMA 001! The second half is brought to you by Uchida Yuuma! It was a hot, hot stage from my sister. I’ve been having a great time since yesterday. Let’s make today even more exciting and fun! Thank you!” he said to the audience.
“We’re going to speed things up even more! Next, listen to this song!” he said, starting with “Over,” featuring his signature kick on the mic stand, followed by three consecutive songs with dazzling dance moves: “ERROR” and “Loser.” He then gave a choreography lesson with the audience for “VIBES,” which he performed, followed by “Relax,” “Start Line,” and “Happy-go-Journey,” filling the venue with excitement. “Happy-go-Journey is the ending song for the show “Absurd Skills in Another World Wandering Meals,” which I also performed with my sister,” he said, gushing about the similarities between the characters and their personalities, as well as stories about his brother and sister.
“Today’s concert is with my sister, so I was thinking about what kind of concert I should do. Next, I’ll sing a cover of Uchida Maaya’s song! Yesterday I sang “Cosmos”, but I think this song is good today!” With this, she started with “Souzan Innocence” from Uchida Maaya’s debut single. The reaction from the audience was great because it was a song that was requested by many fans, and the excitement in the venue rose even more. She then moved on to her own debut single “NEW WORLD”, and during “Monotanai”, there was a corner where fans in the venue were allowed to take photos with their smartphones. After the photo corner was over, it was announced that the second concert “YUMA UCHIDA LIVE “VS YUMA 002- Okazaki Taiiku” will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025.
対バン相手となるアーティスト・岡崎体育からの映像コメントも流れ、内田雄馬は「お相手は岡崎体育さんです！ なんと！ 岡崎体育さんと私、面識はないんですけど、この『VS YUMA』ではいろんなアーティストの方と交流をするというテーマでやっていますので、今回オファーさせていただき快諾をいただきました。今から楽しみです。このツーマンライブ来てくれますよね！？ お待ちしています！」と意気込みを話した。ソロパートのラストスパートを告げると、『SHAKE！SHAKE！SHAKE！』『Congrats!!』と内田雄馬のアップテンポナンバーが2曲連続で続き、冒頭を含めたソロ歌唱15曲が終了。
会場のアンコールの声を受け、内田雄馬と内田真礼が再びステージへ。9月25日（水）にデジタル配信され、10月30日（水）にCDリリースを控えるコラボシングルから『Carnival』を披露。まさにお祭りな今回のイベントと会場の熱気に後押しされ、2人のパフォーマンスも更に勢いづく。
今回のライブを振り返り、内田雄馬は「こうして姉弟2人でライブをする日がくるとは思わなかったです。『創傷イノセンス』のカバーの後に『NEW WORLD』を歌いましたが、だいぶ方向性が違うなと改めて思いました」と話し、内田真礼のデビュー曲のMVの話題に触れつつ、「方向性の違いも見えたし、重なるところもあれば違うところもあって、それは姉弟の仲が良いからかと思います」と家族エピソードと姉弟の仲の良さが伝わる温かな空気に会場中が包まれる。
ラストは同コラボシングルに収録されている『BIG LOVE』の披露になるが、ここで嬉しいサプライズが。楽曲の作曲を担当したオーイシマサヨシがステージへ登場。2人との関係性も深いオーイシマサヨシを交えて、まさに大団円ともいえる『BIG LOVE』が披露され、多くのファンに見守られながら実の姉で声優アーティストの内田真礼を迎えた内田雄馬の初の対バンライブは大盛況で幕を閉じた。
今回のライブはオンライン配信がされており、10月6日（日）23:59までライブを楽しむことができる。映像化の予定は無いとのことのため、奇跡の瞬間を目撃したい人はぜひこの配信で見ていただきたい。
