“Given” has many fans as a supreme BL work, and in 2024, the final story of the main story will be released as a two-part movie, making it a year of endless topics. To commemorate the release of the final chapter, “Given: To the Sea,” we will introduce the profiles and personalities of the main characters, as well as notable scenes.

Childhood friends with Mafuyu, Gensumi, and Yuki. He thinks of Mafuyu as a younger brother, and although Hiiragi wants to pay him attention, Mafuyu treats him coldly and they always fight. However, for both Hiiragi and Mafuyu, he is the one they can treat as the most equal.
One summer day, Hiiragi makes a promise to go to the festival with Gensumi, and Mafuyu makes a promise to go with Rikka, and Hiiragi and Mafuyu wear yukata. Hiiragi puts on Mafuyu’s yukata as well. He is good at everything.
By chance, he meets Mafuyu, who he hadn’t heard from since Yuki left. When he finds out that Mafuyu has started playing music with Yuki’s guitar, he calls Mafuyu out to have a long talk.
Hiiragi is bright, free-spirited, and has a “princess-like temperament,” but behind her twisted remarks she has kind feelings and is actually very pure.
Losing Yuki was an event that changed the lives of not only Mafuyu but also Hiiragi. Lonely, regretful, helpless… I think she overcame all those emotions and decided to continue making music for Yuki’s sake. Ritsuka asked Hiiragi if he had any doubts about debuting, but what Hiiragi was probably conflicted about was whether to continue making music even if Yuki was gone. Hiiragi wanted to complete Yuki
‘s song at this timing so that both he and Mafuyu could move forward. Ritsuka accomplished that. Everyone is so cool! The relationship between Hiiragi and Mafuyu, where they can speak their true feelings to each other, is also good. I would like to see a reality where two music genres,
